Where do I even begin?

Elana helped me tremendously during a rather tumultuous period of my life when I was navigating multiple changes across almost every area. From our very first session, she helped me uncover where I was feeling stuck and offered perspectives that allowed me to reframe situations and approach them differently.

One of the biggest shifts that came from our work together was recognising that I had been carrying a narrative about myself that was, in many ways, one of the biggest barriers to my own growth and progress. Becoming aware of that gave me the courage to face challenges head-on rather than continuing to lean into the avoidance patterns I had fallen into.

When I started working at my family business two years ago, I honestly thought I was giving up on the creative life I’d trained for. I’d spent years in the film industry, and stepping into this new role felt like closing a door on who I was. Elana helped me see it differently, she showed me how lucky I am to build something with my siblings, to spend both quality time and professional time with the people I grew up with. Two years later, I’m genuinely happy working alongside my family, and things keep looking up. There's quite a joy watching the folks smile a little easier these days.

But the deeper shift came from a single session that completely caught me off guard. Elana asked the right question at the right moment, and something clicked; I realized just how much I love music, how much it means to me, in a way I’d never fully let myself see before. I’ve been singing and writing songs since I was 14, never quite knowing what to do with it, always treating it as something on the side. That session floored me. It became an epiphany: music isn’t a side passion, it might be the most important thing in my life. From there, she helped me see that I didn’t have to keep shelving it. I could get into the studio and actually produce an album, not for anyone else, just for myself. After a career spent making films and commercials for other people, this is the first thing I get to call entirely my own.

Hey, you called it. I’m in the studio every week now, working with a producer, watching something I’ve carried since I was a teenager finally take shape, 20 years later. Twenty. Effing. Years. Pardon my language, but I just can't contain it. That's how much passion Elana sparked back to life in something I'd neglected for two decades.

I cannot be more grateful. I feel braver and more motivated than I’ve felt in years. At this stage of my life, I didn’t think this kind of growth was still possible, but Elana proved me wrong.
