Danielle Dryden

A psychologically informed AuDHD coaching practitioner and trainee coaching psychologist, combining professional training with lived experience as an Autistic ADHDer. I am a trained coach, an International Coaching Federation member, and a Graduate Member of the British Psychological Society.

About

I’m Danielle, a psychologically informed specialist AuDHD coaching practitioner and trainee coaching psychologist. I support autistic, ADHD, and AuDHD adults to understand themselves more deeply, reduce overwhelm, and build lives that work with their neurotype rather than against it.

My work is grounded in both professional training and lived experience. I am myself an Autistic ADHDer, and this shapes the way I understand, attune to, and support the people I work with. Clients often tell me that this combination of psychological insight and lived experience helps them feel seen in a way they haven’t before.

I am a trained coach, a member of the International Coaching Federation, and a Graduate Member of the British Psychological Society. My approach integrates coaching psychology, positive psychology, neurodiversity‑affirming practice, and a formulation‑led understanding of wellbeing, identity, sensory needs, executive functioning, and emotional regulation.

When we work together, we explore what sits beneath the surface of your patterns, challenges, and strengths. We look at your sensory world, your energy rhythms, your internal narratives, your values, and the ways you’ve learned to cope and survive. From there, we build strategies and supports that are realistic, compassionate, and aligned with your capacity.

My role is not to fix you or push you toward someone else’s version of success. It is to help you understand your brain, honour your needs, and create a life that feels sustainable, authentic, and grounded. You will be met with curiosity, validation, and a space where you do not need to mask or perform.

If you are looking for support that is gentle, evidence‑informed, and deeply aligned with the realities of AuDHD life, I would be honoured to work with you.

Testimonials

"Thank you for all your help Danielle! I feel very well-equipped for the future thanks to your supportive, compassionate guidance. It has been a pleasure working with you and I can’t thank you enough! "”

- Steph

"I had coaching sessions with Danielle after I had my ADHD diagnosis in the lead up to my autism diagnosis. She helped me to map my ADHD and autism related traits and strengths in Venn diagrams, plan how to handle certain situations, sort through my approach to managing my traits, start to process what unmasking might look like and to prepare for my autism assessment and process the diagnosis. Danielle was warm, affirming, non-pretentious, easy to talk to and quick to understand my experience and validate it. Working with Danielle helped me feel a lot less anxious and much more in control, I plan to go back to her for coaching periodically in future and I would definitely recommend working with her, particularly for those who may have both autism and ADHD or those struggling with internalised ableism or imposter syndrome (including imposter syndrome about whether you are neurodivergent)."
