About
Founder Introduction
My name is T'Nina, and I am the founder of Lavender Healing and Holistic. My work is rooted in compassion, community care, nervous system healing, and social justice. With a background in mental health, equity and inclusion work, yoga instruction, and holistic wellness practices, I created this space with the belief that healing should feel empowering, accessible, culturally responsive, and deeply human.
I am a certified yoga teacher, Adult First Aid/CPR/AED certified, and have been studying holistic medicine and wellness practices for many years. Professionally, I have worked in the mental health field as a psychotherapist for nearly 10 years and have over 14 years of experience in social justice, inclusion, and community-centered work. These experiences have shaped my understanding of healing—not simply as an individual process, but as something deeply connected to safety, identity, access, culture, and community support.
Throughout my professional and personal journey, I have witnessed how stress, trauma, burnout, systemic inequities, and disconnection from the body can impact overall wellness. Lavender Healing and Holistic was created to offer you a supportive environment where you can reconnect with yourself through mindfulness, movement, coaching, herbal wellness, and restorative healing practices.
As a trauma-informed yoga teacher and wellness professional, I approach healing through a lens of safety, empowerment, choice, and nervous system awareness. My goal is not to “fix” you, but to help you reconnect with your strengths, build sustainable wellness practices, and move toward the life you envision for yourself.
Lavender Healing and Holistic is more than a wellness business—it is a community-centered healing space grounded in compassion, authenticity, cultural awareness, and personal growth. My hope is that every person who enters this space feels seen, supported, and encouraged to care for yourself in ways that honor both your lived experiences and future goals.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between coaching and therapy?
Therapy often focuses on healing past wounds, processing trauma, and treating clinical mental health conditions. Coaching is future-focused, action-oriented, and wellness-centered. While our coaching containers are deeply trauma-informed and incorporate nervous system regulation, coaching is not a substitute for psychotherapy or clinical counseling.
Is this work right for me if I am currently in therapy
Many clients find that wellness coaching beautifully complements their ongoing therapy. If you are currently seeing a mental health professional, we can discuss how to best support your existing care plan during our initial session.
What does 'trauma-informed' actually mean in your practice
To me, being trauma-informed means creating a space completely free of judgment, pressure, or forced pacing. We honor your body’s unique timeline, practice choice-based mindfulness, and prioritize safety and nervous system regulation above all else. You are always the expert on your own experience.
What happens during our initial Clarity and Connection Session
This is a complimentary, low-pressure space for us to get to know each other. We will talk about your current life season, what you are hoping to cultivate, and explore which of my virtual coaching containers feels like the right fit for your journey.
Do you offer payment plans for your coaching tiers
Yes! Reach out to me for more details.
