Testimonials

My family would ABSOLUTELY recommend Spark ADHD (and already have) to individuals and families. Meg's approach to a wary teen and a nervous mom was perfect. She never seemed to take a side, but held both of us accountable in a gentle but firm way. The tools Meg shared with us as a family dealing with ADHD were practical and possible - both mom and son were able to do the work. Our relationship has strengthened and the tension has lessened considerably at home. My patience has allowed us to meet in a new way - and get to resolution and good humor much more quickly. Our coaching was a wonderful experience all around. Looking forward to coming back!

I would absolutely recommend Spark ADHD Coaching and Consulting to others because it has helped me to develop customized interventions to help my family function in a more efficient, peaceful and loving way. Before starting with Meg, I was distraught by the direction my relationship with my ADHD son was heading. As he approached adolescence, he and I were often at odds. My every attempt to enforce discipline resulted in him digging in his heels and escalating his behavior. It created tension and negativity for the whole family. Implementing a new system has resulted in better behavior, less conflict, and a more positive family dynamic. In addition to structure, Meg helped me learn ways to help my kid feel successful, grow in his independence, and increase the positive connection between us. I am incredibly grateful to Meg for her support, understanding, and guidance.

Meg has been doing ADHD coaching with my 20 yo daughter with significant ADHD. I already see my daughter implementing strategies from her coaching sessions. Additionally, we engaged in some family consultation sessions and Meg expertly facilitated the development of a parent/ young adult contract to help us as parents help our daughter move forward in her life. Meg's mental health background has been super helpful in navigating emotionally charged conversations.

Meg was generous with her time and knowledge. I learned about what a 504 Plan means for a private school student and how it can support the transition to public school. Before talking with Meg, I was shaky about how a big life transition will impact my kid. I left the conversation with validation that my kid is likely to succeed and achievable next steps with a timeline to make that happen.

Meg came highly recommedned and for good reason. From the start of our 11-week session until the end we have seen our household go from stressful chaos to more peaceful. We have learned strategies and tools to better communicate with our ADHD son, as well as with each other.

Meg provides the knowledge, support, and practical feedback I've needed to start new or challenging endeavors. She's an empathetic and active listener, and reminds me of my worth and value to others while always helping to keep my important goals in clear sight. Her feedback has done wonders for me professionally and the sessions keep me from ever giving up on myself.

A Life-Changing Experience with Spark ADHD Coaching! We’ve been working with Meg from Spark ADHD Coaching for about a year and a half and I can honestly say it has been a game changer for our family. As parents of an ADHD child, we’ve always felt like we were constantly scrambling to find effective strategies that actually work. But thanks to Meg, we finally have a clear, actionable plan in place. What sets Meg apart is not just her wealth of knowledge and practical strategies, but also her incredible ability to make us feel understood and supported. She has a gift for normalizing the experience of parenting a differently wired child, and every conversation with her leaves us feeling more confident and hopeful. Meg has provided us with countless tools and techniques that are already making a huge difference in how we support our daughter. More importantly, she’s helped us approach parenting from a place of empathy and understanding, rather than frustration. We now feel like we’re on the same team, with a strong plan in place for the first time.

Meg, Thank you so much for helping me through the last several months. You really helped reduce the mental and emotional static by taking action in a focused and meaningful way. I realized that often when I feel anxious it's because I'm not taking action. Even "doing" simple or small things helps chip away at the amorphous and oppressive weight I put on myself. Needless to say, working together was a good fit and I can't imagine how things could have gone much better! Thank you again for your compassionate and creative work!

- D.P.

My sessions with Meg got me to pay better attention to my ADHD strengths and limitations and how to recognize them earlier, and most importantly, got me to trust and use my strengths more often in my work or when making decisions. Meg got me to see I work better with an action plan when I'm feeling down on myself, which was a vital piece of working through some of my self-defeating thoughts.
