Transform Your Relationship with Food – Naturally and for Good

Do you often find yourself eating out of emotion, struggling with cravings, or feeling stuck in a cycle of failed diets?
What if you could break free from these patterns—not through sheer willpower, but by changing how you think and feel about food?

As a hypnotherapist and nutritionist, I combine the power of hypnosis with proven techniques like EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) and NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming) to help you develop a healthier, more balanced relationship with food. Together, we’ll tackle emotional eating, overcome cravings, and build sustainable habits that last.
I’ve had the privilege of helping countless women transform their eating habits and achieve lasting weight loss, increased energy, and better health. My approach isn’t just about food—it’s about shifting your mindset so you can live a life of freedom and confidence.

About Me

I’m Sonia—a qualified Hypnotherapist and Nutritionist with a passion for helping women become the best version of themselves.
I’ve worked with clients struggling with everything from emotional eating to yo-yo dieting and self-sabotage. Through hypnosis, I help reprogram the thoughts and emotions that keep them stuck, allowing them to create lasting change.
With a background in both nutrition and hypnosis, I bring together the best of both worlds to offer personalized guidance. I am a certified hypnotherapist with the American Hypnosis Association (AHA) and a certified nutritionist in Australia, where I’m a member of the Nutrition Council of Australia (NCA).

I was born in Milan, Italy, into a family of farmers in the northern plains, where I developed a deep appreciation for wholesome, healthy food from an early age.
After completing my university studies, I spent several years in the food and beverage industry, developing health-focused beverages for both the Italian and Middle Eastern markets, including functional waters and energy-boosting drinks.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, I felt a deep calling to pursue my higher mission: helping women lead happier, healthier lives. This led me to study hypnosis and nutrition, combining my passion for food with my desire to empower others on their wellness journey.
When I’m not helping clients, I enjoy spending time with my husband and two children in Melbourne, Australia.

If you’re ready to break free from emotional eating, stop cravings, and build a lasting, healthy relationship with food, I’d love to support you on your journey.

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s hypnotherapy?
Hypnotherapy is one of the most powerful tools for transformation that exists today and thanks to the modern behavioral science we now know how hypnotherapy works, mostly thanks to the work of Dr. David Spiegel, Medical Director of the Center for Integrative Medicine at Stanford University.
When we get into this heightened state of consciousness, we’re more receptive to change and shift at a much more deep-rooted level than just the conscious mind.

Can anyone be hypnotized?
Yes. Anyone can be hypnotized based on their suggestibility. Hypnosis is a very normal process that we all experience for a few minutes every day before we fall asleep and while we wake-up. Anyone who is willing to enjoy the benefits of hypnosis can be hypnotized.

How effective is hypnotherapy?
Hypnotherapy is highly effective, as demonstrated by numerous studies, and much more effective than any traditional form of therapy.
The efficacy rate ranges between 70% and 90%; it varies depending on the condition being treated, the number of sessions and the client commitment.
The reason why hypnotherapy is so effective is because it takes us to a theta brainwave state, in which we can insert new beliefs, behaviors and ideas into our lives.
With enough repetition, you can rewire your brain, so that your goals, wishes, and desires become your subconscious programs, not just conscious mind goals.

Do I lose control in hypnosis?
It’s the opposite. In fact, thanks to hypnotherapy you are gaining more control over your life; it’s a way of giving you more control, not less.
During hypnotherapy, you remain in control and aware. Unlike what we see in movies, it’s not possible for anyone to force you to do anything against your wishes. You are fully in charge of your actions, behaviors, and statements.

Can I get stuck in hypnosis?
No, it’s impossible; you can come out of the state any time you wish during the session.
Hypnosis is safe, science-backed and a totally natural state. We all enter a state of hypnosis at least twice a day, when we are waking-up and before falling asleep; in fact, it’s not possible to transition from a state of wake to a state of sleep without passing through this intermediate state, in which our brain waves are in theta state, most commonly called hypnosis.

What does hypnosis feel like?
What you’ll experience is very personal and varies from one session to another; however, many people report it as a heightened state of attention and focus, and generally feel calmer and relaxed afterwards. Some describe it as a deep state of meditation.

How is your approach different from a general hypnotherapist?
Unlike a general hypnotherapist, I specialize in hypnosis for eating habits and relationship with food, thanks to my nutrition studies and my specialization in hypnosis for weight loss.

Unlike a general hypnotherapist, I understand how our mind and biology interact.

Food choices aren't just emotional - they're also influenced by blood sugar levels, sleep, hormones, gut health, and more.

Because of this, I address not just emotional factors, but also biological factors, using a holistic blend of hypnosis, lifestyle guidance, nutrition strategies, and targeted supplementation.

Real transformation happens when we support the whole person - mind and body together; that's why I address both the mental and physical sides of eating.
How is your approach different from a traditional nutritionist?
A traditional nutritionist focuses on what you eat. I go deeper - I focus on why.

As a certified hypnotherapist, I understand the psychology behind eating habits. I use hypnosis to heal the root cause that drive your food behaviors - emotional triggers, beliefs, self-worth, and rewire the habits.

I don't just manage symptoms; I work at the source for lasting change.

Are sessions online or face to face?
All sessions are conducted online via a secure video platform.

Online sessions are just as effective as face to face ones, with the added benefit of saving you time and travel cost. You can also feel more relaxed in the comfort of your own space.

Working online allows me to support you wherever you are in the world.
Once you book a session, you'll receive a link to join the videocall.
How many sessions will I need?
The number of sessions depends on several factors, including the number of eating habits you wish to change, the complexity of the underlying causes and your level of commitment to the process.
During your free 30-minute consultation, I'll be able to provide you with an estimate of how many sessions may be needed to reach your goals.
How frequently should I book sessions?
For best results, I recommend to book sessions weekly, preferably the same day every week.

What can I expect from the free 30-minute phone consultation?
After you book your free consultation, you'll receive a questionnaire in your inbox.

I encourage you to take your time with it - reflect on each question and answer thoughtfully. Your responses will help me gain insight into your personal history, current challenges, and goals.

Based on your responses, I'll prepare a draft therapy plan tailored specifically to your needs.

During our 30-minute call, I'll walk you through it, ask a few more questions to get to know you better and share some initial recommendations.

This is also your chance to ask any questions you may have about hypnotherapy, my nutritional approach, or how the two can work together to support your goals.
What can I expect from the 1:1 sessions? How long do they last?
The first session is the longest at 90-min, while the following sessions are 60-min.

The first session is longer because we'll take the time to deep dive on your background and what's been holding you back.
We'll also agree on your goals and personalized therapy plan.
In the following sessions, we'll review what's been working, address any new challenge, and gently guide you through the next steps.
What can I expect from the courses?
Each course is designed to be practical, supportive, and easy to follow - even with a busy schedule.
Lessons are broken down into short, manageable modules, so you can move at your own pace.
Expect a blend of education, reflection, and actionable strategies - all grounded in behavioral science and nutrition.
You'll gain valuable tools to help you understand your habits, shift your mindset, and build a healthier relationship with food.
You'll also receive downloadable resources, journal prompts, and gentle guidance to help you integrate the changes into your daily life.
