You built a respected career. Now you're questioning it. I'm a Career Decision Strategist helping high-achieving diaspora professionals choose a path that honors both themselves and their family.

About

For a long time, I believed exhaustion was simply the cost of succeeding.
I grew up in an immigrant and military family where resilience, sacrifice, and responsibility were treated as necessities. Success wasn't simply personal. It carried meaning for the people around me, too.

Over a 20+ year career spanning Big Law M&A, sovereign wealth investment, education, and corporate training across the United States, Europe, and Seoul, I learned how to navigate environments that rewarded endurance, adaptability, and high performance. I became fluent in functioning under pressure and meeting expectations.

What I didn't understand at the time was how easily those same strengths could become something else.

The drive to achieve. The responsibility to carry more than my share. The habit of adapting to what was needed. Over time, they stopped feeling like strategies and started feeling like who I was.

As I began coaching high-achieving multicultural professionals, I noticed the same pattern appearing again and again. Thoughtful, capable, successful people who were quietly exhausted from constantly managing who they needed to be in order to hold everything together.

That recognition became the foundation of my work.

Today, I help clients untangle the deeper patterns underneath career decisions, leadership challenges, burnout, and life transitions so they can move forward with greater clarity, confidence, and a stronger connection to who they are and what matters most.

Frequently Asked Questions

What if my life looks fine on the outside?
From the outside, many of the people I work with appear successful, capable, and stable.

What usually brings them here is the growing awareness that something feels increasingly costly beneath the surface.

You might notice:
  • You’re functioning, but rarely fully at ease
  • You keep adapting yourself to maintain stability
  • Rest no longer feels restorative
  • Success feels harder to emotionally connect to than it used to

You do not need to wait for a crisis to take yourself seriously.
Will this ask me to lower my standards or detach from my culture or family?
No.

This work is not about rejecting your ambition, your family, or your cultural values.

It’s about creating enough clarity and steadiness that your decisions are no longer driven only by pressure, fear, or self-abandonment.

For many clients, the goal is not separation but learning how to remain connected without disappearing inside that connection.
Is this therapy?
No.

Coaching focuses on present patterns, self-awareness, decision-making, leadership, and the way you move through work and life now.

Therapy often focuses more deeply on diagnosis, trauma processing, and mental health treatment.

Many clients find the two can complement each other well.
I’m high-functioning. Do I really need this?
High-functioning people often normalize carrying too much for too long.

You may still be succeeding externally while internally experiencing:
  • constant pressure
  • over-management of yourself
  • difficulty accessing clarity
  • emotional exhaustion
  • disconnection from what feels fully alive

Our goal is not to evaluate whether you are capable. You are. Instead, we examine whether the way you are functioning is sustainable and co-partner building more resourceful strategies you may wish to adopt.
What if I don’t know exactly what’s wrong?
That’s very common.

Most people arrive with a feeling before they arrive with language.

They may know:
  • something feels heavy
  • they’ve outgrown an old way of operating
  • they are tired of surviving everything efficiently
  • the question keeps returning

Part of the work is helping make the structure underneath the pressure visible.
What will actually change for me?
The external structure of your life may or may not change.

What changes first is usually the way you experience yourself inside it.

Clients often notice:
  • less internal pressure and over-management
  • greater clarity without constant mental looping
  • a stronger sense of steadiness in decisions
  • less guilt around having needs, limits, or direction
  • more connection to themselves while remaining connected to others
  • a growing ability to lead, speak, and move through life without performing stability all the time

Some clients make significant changes in work or life.
Others remain in the same role or circumstances but no longer experience themselves in the same way within them.

The goal is not reinvention for its own sake.
It is creating a life that feels more grounded, connected, and fully inhabited.
What if I’ve already done a lot of personal development work?
Many clients have.

They’ve read extensively, reflected deeply, listened to podcasts, gone to therapy, or worked with coaches before.

When none of that worked, often the issue is that insight has not yet translated into a more grounded way of living and moving through pressure.

This work focuses not only on understanding patterns, but also on changing your relationship to them in practice.
