Testimonials
I have been in consultation with Dr. Robin Warfield for several years. I’m in my 70s and the life challenges just keep coming. Having a session every other week allows me to process the difficulties aging brings in a positive and supportive relationship with a professional dedicated to wellness. Often as I struggle with multiple problems: health, money, family, etc., she helps me identify what I have agency to correct for a happier outcome. Her focus on total wellness, not just physical health, keeps me focused on those qualities I still want to bring to the world, as well as what help I need.
- Cheryl P., Jacksonville, FL
At times when I feel overwhelmed, or am having a conflict with someone or need to make an important decision, Robin has guided me so well to be able to find my own answers. The skills I have learned from my sessions with her have greatly improved ALL my relationships and given me a deeper sense of inner peace and well-being.

Professional Expertise Grounded in Lived Experience
My journey into health and wellness coaching wasn’t just born in university lecture halls or clinical training programs—it began with my own lived experience. When I was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes at age 11, my world shifted overnight. Navigating a lifelong chronic illness from a young age exposed me early on to the intense mental and physical load of health management. Over the years, that journey also included walking through my own battles with disordered eating, OCD, depression, and anxiety.
I know firsthand what it feels like to live in a body or a mind that feels overwhelming. I know the exhaustion of masking burnout, the paralysis of trying to manage complex health dynamics, and the deep patience it takes to heal. Because of this, I do not coach from a place of rigid rules or detached clinical advice. I coach from a place of radical empathy, deep respect, and true understanding. I know how heavy the backpack you are carrying is, because I have worn it myself.

What is Reflective Supervision and Consultation, and how can it support me?
Moving beyond "what to do" to understand "how to be."
In the worlds of heavy caregiving and clinical practice, we are often overwhelmed by logistics, crisis management, and endless to-do lists. We focus entirely on the action—fixing the problem, managing the symptom, or completing the task.
Reflective Supervision and Consultation (RS/C) is an evidence-based, relationship- driven practice that invites you to pause. It is a collaborative, safe, and non-judgmental space where we look beneath the surface of your daily challenges. Together, we explore how your experiences, emotions, and relationships impact the care you give—and how that care impacts you.
Here is how Reflective Consultation serves you in your specific role:
For Parents & Caregivers: A space to process the emotional landscape of complex caregiving. When you are raising a child with chronic illness, behavioral concerns, or neurodivergence, your nervous system is often trapped in a constant state of arousal; Traditional parenting advice tells you what to do, but it rarely supports how you feel while doing it. In our reflective sessions, we look at the deeper dynamics of your family system:
- Process the invisible load: Space to safely explore the grief, anxiety, guilt, or
- frustration that often accompanies complex caregiving.
- Understand the communication behind behaviors: Learn to read your child’s emotional cues—and your own internal reactions to them—so you can respond with clarity instead of reacting out of exhaustion.
For Clinicians, Educators & Professionals: A sanctuary for professional growth, ethical practice, and burnout prevention. As a professional supporting vulnerable families, you absorb an incredible amount of secondary trauma and systemic stress. True professional growth requires more than just clinical continuing education; it requires a structured space to examine your own practice. Holding a formal Reflective Supervision and Consultation Endorsement, I provide a collaborative relationship where you can:
- Examine parallel processes: Identify how the emotional dynamics of the families you serve might be showing up in your own professional responses or triggers.
- Navigate complex cases: Slow down to analyze difficult clinical situations from a holistic, family-systems perspective.
- Prevent compassion fatigue: Cultivate a deep, protective boundary between your professional identity and the heavy emotional weight of your caseload, ensuring long-term career sustainability.
What is Health & Well-Being Coaching (HWC) and Wellness Consultation?
The initial coaching session sees clients designing how they want to work together with the coach. This often includes discussion on anything they want to share; for instance, strategies they have tried that have or have not worked in the past and how they best communicate. This will allow the coach to gain a deeper understanding of who the client is and what they wish for in their life, health, and well-being.
