Restored Hope Collective
Trauma-Informed Story Work, Coaching, and Healing Groups
About
Hello, my name is Caroline and I understand what it is to carry a story quietly, to look put together on the outside while feeling disconnected, overwhelmed, or unsure of how to make sense of what is happening on the inside.
At Restored Hope, I create safe trauma-informed spaces where your story can be slowed down, explored with care, and witnessed in safe community without pressure to perform, fix yourself, or have it all figured out.
This work is shaped by years of walking with people through their stories, my own lived experience of learning how healing unfolds in safe relational spaces, and my professional training in narrative-focused trauma care through The Allender Center at The Seattle School of Theology and Psychology.
What Is Story Work?
Story work is a relational and trauma-informed approach to understanding how your past experiences continue to shape your present life. It is not about fixing you. It is about helping you notice patterns, beliefs, and emotional responses that formed in earlier chapters of your story and continue to show up today in relationships, identity, and connection.
This work integrates narrative-focused trauma care, emotional awareness, and somatic attention to what your body holds.
Trauma-Informed Coaching and Healing Groups in Florida and Online
Restored Hope offers trauma-informed coaching, small group story work, and immersive retreats for individuals seeking emotional healing, deeper self-understanding, and relational connection.
Sessions are available both in person and online, offering flexibility for those local to Central Florida and those joining from other places.
Small Group Story Work for Emotional Healing
Small group story work provides a guided, trauma-informed space where you can explore your story in community. These groups are designed for people who feel stuck in repeated emotional or relational patterns, want deeper self-understanding, are seeking healing outside of traditional clinical settings, or want to be seen and understood in a relational space.
This is not performance-based. It is paced, reflective, and grounded in safety and connection.
One-on-One Story Work Coaching
Individual coaching offers a focused space to explore your personal story in a relational and trauma-informed setting. Together, we pay attention to patterns that keep repeating in your life, emotional responses that feel confusing or intense, how past experiences are shaping present relationships, and where you feel disconnected from yourself.
This is a space to slow down and make sense of what has been carried for a long time.
Somatic Work and Body Mapping
Body mapping is an embodied, gentle approach to noticing how your story is held in your body. This work helps you become aware of where stress, emotion, or memory is stored physically, how your body responds to safety and threat, patterns of tension or collapse, and what your body has been communicating over time.
It is a somatic, trauma-informed process that honors your pace and capacity.
Retreats and Immersive Healing Experiences
Retreats and workshops offer in-person spaces for deeper rest, reflection, and story exploration. These experiences are designed to create time away from daily demands, space for emotional and relational processing, opportunities for connection in community, and grounding and integration of personal story work.
Who This Is For
This work is for you if you find yourself wanting to understand your emotional patterns more clearly, feeling stuck in cycles you cannot seem to break, longing for safe relational spaces to process your story, curious about how your past continues to shape your present, or desiring healing that includes your body, not just your thoughts.
You do not need to arrive fixed or ready. You only need curiosity and willingness.

Meet Caroline
Caroline Tiell is a trauma-informed story work practitioner and coach specializing in narrative-focused trauma care. She is trained through the Allender Center at The Seattle School of Theology and Psychology, where she completed Narrative Focused Trauma Care Levels 1, 2, and 3, and holds a Master’s-level certification in narrative-focused trauma care.
She comes with not only professional training, but a personal understanding for what it means to carry a story that has shaped your life in quiet, complex, and sometimes unseen ways.
Caroline works with individuals seeking trauma-informed coaching, emotional healing, embodiment understanding and spiritual abuse recovery. She uses story work groups to better understand how life experiences continue to shape relationships, identity, and emotional patterns. At the heart of her work is a belief that healing often begins in safe connection, when your story is not rushed, fixed, or minimized, but gently witnessed with care.
For over a decade, she has created safe group spaces for women of all ages and stages of life, spaces where they can show up fully as themselves and be seen, known, and never alone.
Her work includes:
- Trauma-informed story work groups
- One-on-one trauma coaching
- Healing retreats and workshops
- Somatic and body-based story work (body mapping)
Caroline also serves as a speaker and facilitator in conferences, organizations, and community spaces, she speaks on topics related to story work, trauma-informed healing, emotional connection, and how lived experiences shape identity and relationships.
She brings more than fifteen years of experience walking alongside children, women, and families from hard places, including the foster care system and supporting children in care and the families who love them. Her work has always been rooted in presence, connection, and hope.
She also previously served as a youth pastor, which informs her understanding of spiritual trauma, identity formation, and early life shaping experiences.
Her approach is shaped not only by training, but by lived experience. Caroline has personally navigated infertility, grief, loss, spiritual abuse and family complexity. She knows well the quieter forms of grief that are not always seen or spoken. These experiences deepen her capacity to sit with others in honesty, compassion, and embodied care.
Caroline is an adoptive mother and an advocate for children in care and the families who love them. She enjoys creativity, meaningful connection, and fun with her family, including her balketball loving twin sons and energetic daughter.
