Rebekah Kittl ACC - Career and Leadership Coach
Sustainable Success, Grounded in Values & Wellbeing
About
Many of the people I work with are quiet high achievers: capable, responsible, and used to carrying complexity without much support. What they share is a desire for success that feels sustainable, not just reachable.
How I work with you
For leaders who want to strengthen their impact and lead with clarity while staying grounded in their values. This work builds on your strengths, emotional intelligence, and leadership practices suited to your context.
For professionals at a career crossroads, including redundancy, transition, or a desire for something different. Together we clarify what matters, explore realistic options, and shape a confident way forward.
For periods of sustained stress or life transition that call for deeper support. Sessions are trauma-informed and values-based, drawing on acceptance and commitment therapy. Where additional specialist care is needed, I always provide referrals to trusted practitioners.
I offer a free clarity call that is a relaxed space to explore what's on your mind and whether this kind of support feels like the right next step.

Testimonials
I sought Rebekah’s guidance at a low point in my career following an unexpected change via corporate downsizing. She showed me how my subconscious reliance on learned behaviours had unknowingly depleted my sense of self and optimism. Her strategies to find energy, by reframing those that resonated with my core values, were inspiring. Her guidance on the recruitment process was invaluable and delivered immediate results. I am very grateful for Rebekah’s coaching and highly recommend her services.
- T.B - Senior Leader - Engineering/Defence
Rebekah Kittl is an accomplished coach who helped me realise the core values motivating the roles I enjoy, and thus prioritise organisations and leaders I wish to work with. Resulting in a successful job offer with a company I love while giving me the space to drive innovation. Rebekah is a pleasure to work with and a gifted, insightful relator. I will absolutely be working with her again as I develop in my career. Highly recommend.
- Carolyn - COO - Education & Training
It was such a pleasure working with Rebekah. I decided to seek some coaching as I entered a new leadership role, to help me focus my thoughts and plan my actions. The time we spent together was always so valuable, I can only describe it as short circuiting some realisations and clarity of the pathway forward that may have taken many weeks or months for me to reach ‘in my own head’. The practise of talking it out, and trying to verbalise complex thoughts or emotions provides such clarity. Rebekah expertly asked just the right questions to guide me to where I needed to go, and to make the realisations and decisions I needed to make. Rebekah is highly attuned to prompting insights into emotional drivers of behaviour, which when identified makes the next step forward seem so natural and right. I would highly recommend working with Rebekah no matter where you are at on your leadership journey.
- B.P - Chief of Staff, Government
Rebekah is a great coach and guided me through the development of action plans to enable me to become a better leader. She is a great listener and helped me understand my challenges and how I can overcome them. I always felt calmer and more clarity after our sessions.
- Ellona - Senior HR Leader
I can highly recommend Rebekah even after the first coaching session which gave me clarity around the goals I was trying to achieve and the steps I needed to take to get there.
Rebekah’s style as a coach helped to clear away the ‘white noise’ to get to the core of the issue and I will certainly not be hesitating to book my next professional coaching session with her.
- Wendy - Business Manager - Outsourcing
Thank you for coaching me Rebekah. It was an incredibly empowering process. By focusing on me as an individual (my core values, strengths and priorities) and reframing my past challenges I ended up with a plan that I found authentic and manageable. I'm really pleased to say that the eventual outcome was just right and am looking forward to the future. I can't recommend Rebekah highly enough!
- Kirstin - Project Manager
Rebekah from the very first session online I could feel and see your presence and I experienced a deep sence of feeling heard and seen. You gently tracked my concerns and experience of feeling wounded after a recent redundancy, and supported me to hear and attend to my inner wisdom that has supported me to begin a new employment journey. You kept me accountable to my goals and intentions whilst holding space for me emotionally. You are a special coach and human and anyone connecting with you will experience positive shifts and reconnection to themselves.
- Jenny - Community Health

Frequently Asked Questions
What does Coaching involve and how do you know it’s professional
Coaching is a collaborative, forward-focused process that helps you clarify your goals, identify barriers, and develop strategies to move forward.
Unlike counselling, which often addresses emotional healing or past experiences, coaching is not therapy.
And unlike mentoring, coaching doesn’t involve advice-giving it’s about helping you uncover your own answers.
My role is to walk beside you as a thinking partner offering structure, challenge, and support so you can lead yourself and others with clarity and confidence.
Who am I accredited by?
I’m a credentialed coach with the International Coaching Federation (ICF) , the world’s leading professional body for coaches.
I hold an Associate Certified Coach (ACC) credential and am an active ICF member, committed to ongoing supervision, development, and ethical practice.
What does that mean for you?
Choosing an ICF-accredited coach means you’re working with someone who:
• Has completed rigorous coach-specific training
• Has undergone mentor coaching and performance evaluations
• Follows a strict Code of Ethics
• Commits to ongoing professional development
• Uses evidence-informed coaching practices (not pop psychology or generic advice)
What is the ICF Code of Ethics?
The ICF Code of Ethics is a globally respected framework that protects you as a client. It ensures your coach works with
• Confidentiality
• Respect and cultural sensitivity
• Professional boundaries
• A clear coaching agreement
• A commitment to your autonomy and self-determination
You can view the full Code of Ethics here:

Understanding counselling registration and what it means for you
In Australia, professional counsellors are typically registered with one of three peak bodies:
• ACA (Australian Counselling Association)
• PACFA (Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia)
• CPCA (Certified Practising Counsellors Australia)
These associations set ethical standards, support professional development, and offer a level of public accountability. They are not government regulators, but they are widely used markers of credibility in the counselling profession.
Who am I registered with?
I’m a Level 1 member of CPCA, a national body that recognises qualified and experienced counsellors including those who trained prior to more recent regulatory shifts. CPCA values both formal education and real-world, lived experience. This makes it an inclusive, professionally grounded organisation that’s especially relevant for experienced practitioners like myself.
Why did I choose CPCA?
My original counselling qualification predates current frameworks but reflects robust, practical training. CPCA acknowledges this depth and currency, allowing me to continue practising ethically and with appropriate professional insurance, continuing education and supervision.
Can you claim Medicare or health fund rebates with me?
Currently, Medicare rebates are only available for psychologists, mental health social workers, and some occupational therapists via a Mental Health Treatment Plan.
Counsellors, including myself, are not eligible for Medicare rebates not because of a lack of quality, but due to how the government classifies and funds mental health services.
Some private health insurance extras policies may offer limited rebates for counselling this depends entirely on your provider and policy.
Why do people choose a counsellor if they can’t get a rebate?
Clients tell me they value:
• A warm, grounded, and human-centred approach
• More flexibility in session length and structure
• Support that blends coaching, counselling, and evidence-informed practice
• A focus on everyday wellbeing, decision-making, and emotional insight not just diagnosis and treatment
If you’re looking for a safe space to talk things through, explore change, or reconnect with what matters to you, counselling can be a powerful path even without a rebate.
