Testimonials

I didn't know I needed life coaching until I finally tried it, and realized that until the tangled mess of dreams, callings, and goals are made clear, and until I had many mindset shifts, I was going to continue having the same results no matter the season or environment. Sarah speaks in a firm gentle way and can provide perspectives, resources, and really help you confront your own patterns that are so familiar to you that you don't even think while doing them and then end up with the same stress. I can't recommend her enough!

- Precious

Before I started coaching session with Sarah, I didn’t know what I wanted to do next in my career journey. Now I have very clear and specific next steps. Sarah discussed topics and asked questions that got me to think more deeply on my career journey, and take steps towards the career and fulfilling job I would like to have. Sarah has been very helpful to me. She speaks with strong authority and confidence. She’s a bad mama jama!

- Jasmine

Sarah has been a refreshing combination of accepting where I am, yet loving me enough to invite me to also blossom where I am. She is a safe person to communicate freely both the burdens of my heart as well as the celebrations. I often come bearing many emotions, thoughts, and confusion, yet she never leaves me in that space. She gently guides me though to a space of truth. She does so through reflective questions and conversation. Never rushing me or judging me. My spirit and my mind always feel rejuvenated and refreshed after our “blossom” sessions!

- Destiny

I'm so thankful for Sarah's coaching and the Motherhood class she prepared. As a first time mom who was expecting, it was so helpful to talk about existing beliefs, expectations, and desires for motherhood. There were many rich conversations with other mothers in different seasons that brought wisdom and created a safe space to process my once unspoken fears of motherhood and renew my mind with life-giving truth. With Sarah's coaching, I was able to take practical steps towards confronting those unspoken fears. Today I feel more confident about my identity as a first time mom who's living in grace.

Frequently Asked Questions

So what exactly is a "Lifestyle Leadership Coach"?
We women wear so many hats, often exchanging one hat for another throughout the course of just one day and from one season of life to another! We may feel that we only wear our "leader hat" in our jobs or when volunteering in some capacity, but I view it more as a lifestyle. We have the opportunity to Live Fully and Lead Intentionally in every area of life as we walk out our purpose with confidence.
You have your Masters in Social Work, so why are you a coach now?
Ahh, long story! But in short: God told me to!
With an MSW and over ten years of experience as a mother and mentor, I’ve enjoyed studying how people and systems work. Coaching is the latest step on my journey, allowing me to combine those decades of wisdom into meaningful 1:1 conversations and supportive groups for women.
Do you hold any coaching certifications?
Great question!
I am a licensed social worker with many years of supporting and counseling individuals and families. I am also a Strengths Champion Certified Coach (incorporating the CliftonStrengths assessment coaching tool, along with the ICF core competencies).
To most effectively serve my coaching clients, I am steadily training towards ICF certification through the Professional Christian Coaching Institute.
Is your coaching similar to therapy?
Well, it can feel like it sometimes! Coaching and therapy can have a lot in common, such as an attentive listening ear, feedback, etc. In our sessions, we may take "a few steps back" on your path, if desired, simply to help draw connections to the present day. However, most of our conversations focus on where you are right now and your next steps into the future. Lots of hope here!
If I'm currently in therapy, can I still sign up?
Sure, you're welcome to explore coaching while still seeing a therapist, depending on your goals.
Let's schedule a free Discovery session to see if it's a good fit!
What is typically discussed in a coaching session?
Great question! We typically explore your story, your current season of life and your goals, and any obstacles you may be facing. Then we design action steps to pave your way forward. Each session builds upon the previous one.
Is there homework between sessions?
Yes! Each session typically ends with an agreed upon action step. Real growth will come from your reflections and practices between sessions. Coaching offers the guidance, feedback and accountability to support this growth. We journey together!
How long do coaching sessions last, and how many do I sign up for?
Coaching sessions typically last 45-60 minutes each, with many clients opting to meet 2-3 times/month for solid momentum and growth. Depending on the coaching package, clients usually participate in coaching for 3-18 months, depending on their goals and season of life.
I highly recommend scheduling 1-2 months in advance to secure your desired dates/times.
Most coaches I've met only coach virtually. Do you ever coach in-person?
Great question! Yes, I can meet in person, if my schedule permits. If you're local, let's try to meet at a neighborhood café!
My motherhood groups are only hosted virtually at this time. But mothers are welcome to schedule their 1:1 sessions in person, if desired.
Can I bill insurance for the payments?
No, I'm sorry, coaching is not billable to insurance. However, payments can be made monthly, if desired. If finances are the only barrier on your coaching path forward, let's chat to see if we can work something out.
What if I need to pause my coaching package?
No worries! Life takes its twists and turns! You can pause your package and then pick back up when your schedule allows.
What's your cancellation policy?
Appointments cancelled or rescheduled with less than 24 hours notice are non-refundable and considered "completed". No-shows are also non-refundable. In case of emergency, please contact Sarah via email. Thank you for your understanding.
