Your "invested and trusted" partner on the journey to your summit
About
As an accomplished Federal Government Executive, I possess over 25 years of public administration and strategic leadership experience where I served as a Special Agent and diplomat for U.S. Missions to China, Vietnam, and Iraq. During these tours, I managed various portfolios ranging from security, investigations, and public affairs outreach. Given my expertise in curriculum and instruction, I've developed and implemented various professional development programs for Federal agencies, which have focused on specialized training, mentoring, and coaching components.
Since 2005, I've taught Criminal Justice, Public Administration, Security Management, Law, and General Education courses at universities across the United States where I have mentored countless undergraduate and graduate students who have obtained careers within the public service profession. I've also published articles and provided presentations on professional development, strategic leadership, and executive coaching program implementation at national conferences throughout the past several years.
In support of complimenting our professional coaching practice, I'm an EQ-i 2.0® and EQ 360® Certified Assessment Provider. The EQ-i 2.0® is a scientifically validated assessment tool that measures emotional intelligence (EI) — the ability to recognize, understand, and manage emotions in yourself and others. Used globally by organizations, consultants, and coaches, EQ-i 2.0® delivers critical insights that improve leadership, team effectiveness, and overall performance. I am also a Certified Assessment Provider for the Leadership Circle Profile® (LCP). The LCP is the only instrument that measures the two primary leadership domains, i.e. Creative Competencies and Reactive Tendencies, and integrates this information so that key opportunities for development immediately rise to the surface to further self-awareness and reflection towards the targeted development of leadership skill sets.
Let’s embark on your endeavor together towards your summit.

Testimonials
"I began working with Robert as a professional coach because we were in the same career field where he has had such great success. Working with him as my coach, he has helped me to dig deeper into what I am really looking for in my career and my life goals. Robert helped me to develop the confidence in finding answers for myself. He is not afraid to ask hard hitting questions that helped me to determine that just because it is the direction I have been going, doesn’t mean it can’t change to better suit what I really want out of my career and life.
Working with him, I have developed as a leader in my federal career, started a personal business, and found happiness in my current path. He always demonstrates the upmost professionalism, but has also become a very trusted friend. Working with Robert as a coach has been one of the best decisions in my career."
- Michelle B.
"I had the pleasure of meeting Robert Baggett while taking his criminal justice class at the University of North Florida in 2006-2007. Even after graduating, I continued to seek his guidance on various matters, including resume development. Robert consistently provided valuable advice, offering honest and insightful feedback that proved invaluable.
As I got to know Robert better, my trust in his counsel grew. His expertise in the criminal justice field is unparalleled, and he remains up-to-date on the latest job trends and employer expectations. I highly recommend seeking Robert's advice – his guidance has been instrumental in my personal and professional growth."
- James M.
"The first time I ever met Robert Baggett was at the Spring 2024 Internship and Career Expo at the University of Central Florida. He was in one of the panel of speakers amongst other agencies. In many ways he stood out, as I was easily able to recall his name when I chose my classes for Fall 2024. As a recent graduate, I needed guidance on opening pathways of opportunities for myself. I have found with his assistance the confidence, insightfulness and guidance of fine tuning my resume and my LinkedIn profile. His recent assistance with fine tuning my resume has opened up new employment opportunities for myself and I couldn't be more grateful.
I have found Robert to be a great asset in finding my pathway in the criminal justice field, along with keeping me informed with new opportunities. I continue to seek his advice on any professional matters that come my way, and I highly encourage and recommend him to any future and post graduate students with any questions and advice."
- Ramey B.
"It is with deep gratitude and admiration that I write this testimonial for Robert Baggett. I was fortunate to meet Robert in 2021 as a California State University East Bay student. The content and quality he offered led to me taking four of his Criminal Justice classes, yet his expertise and knowledge did not end there. Robert made himself available to his students even beyond graduation, and I would have no idea what a gift that would be. His breadth of academic achievements and career experiences make him an unparalleled resource.
Robert's educational achievements, including earning multiple advanced degrees—JD, MPA, MSS—and esteemed certifications such as CFE, PCC, and CPP, showcase his dedication to continuous learning and expertise across diverse fields. As a student navigating academia and career decisions, I was fortunate to have Robert extend his wisdom and unwavering support. Even after being my professor, he took the time to listen and learn about my background and interests. Robert not only guided me through choosing the graduate program that aligned with my goals and aspirations but also provided invaluable letters of recommendation for both job and graduate school applications. His insight, encouragement, and tangible support have shaped my academic and professional journey.
As someone dedicated to public service, Robert has taken the time to provide thoughtful and tailored advice, which I have aptly applied. If public service interests you, Robert's resume boasts experiences that showcase his expertise in this area. From a role as a diplomat for the United States Department of State to working for the USDA, Robert's public service commitment and knowledge are rich resources.
Robert’s impact extends far beyond academics. He inspired me and instilled confidence in my ability to seek new roles and pursue knowledge to help me excel. I am grateful for his guidance and for the example he sets as an educator, mentor, and advocate for his students. I wholeheartedly recommend Robert for those seeking direction, inspiration, and advancement in academia, career, and life's next steps."
