I’m Wykeeta Peel. I’m a leadership and business coach, and I work with women and leaders of color who are done leading from depletion — and ready to lead from clarity.
 
The moment I stopped pretending exhaustion was the price of success

I spent 17 years inside some of the most demanding environments in financial services — senior roles at New York Life and MetLife, partnering with executives, sales leaders, and operations teams in fast-paced, highly regulated organizations where the pressure was constant and the stakes were real.
 
I was good at the work. I knew how to deliver.
 
What I didn’t know how to do was think clearly while carrying everything.
 
The higher I climbed, the more I took on. The more I took on, the harder it became to see what actually mattered — versus what just felt urgent. I watched other high-performing colleagues experience the same thing, especially women and leaders of color navigating environments that were not always built with them in mind.
 
Capability was never the issue. Clarity was.
 
That realization changed everything about how I work today.
 
What I’ve learned about how great leaders get stuck

The professionals I work with aren’t struggling because they lack talent or drive. They’re struggling because:

The PEEL Method

The PEEL Method is a structured framework I developed from years of corporate experience and evidence-based coaching practice. It’s designed for leaders who think deeply but need a clearer path from reflection to action.
 
It works in four movements:
 
Pause — Create intentional space to think, not just react. Most leaders are so busy responding that they never get ahead of what’s driving them.

Examine — Look honestly at what’s underneath the pressure. Patterns, assumptions, and unspoken expectations often run the show more than strategy does.

Evaluate — Assess your priorities, opportunities, and options with fresh eyes. What deserves your energy? What needs to be let go?

Lead — Move forward with confidence, alignment, and a pace you can actually sustain.

This is not a formula. It’s a way of thinking that becomes yours.
