Hello, Beloved. I'm Stella M. Rose (née Mary McGurn), Founder/CEO of OWL Teachings LLC, and I used to be a Good Girl. I followed the path that was expected of me, believing that it would lead to happiness, and it nearly killed me. 

I had everything that a fiercely independent woman is supposed to want: an excellent education, an interesting job with lots of international travel, and a nice house in a good neighborhood. I was outwardly successful and inwardly miserable. I was burnt out, stuck, and depressed. I had a vicious inner critic and a deep unworthiness wound. And I engaged in my personal relationships defensively, with an intent to protect my heart from pain, loss, abandonment, and rejection.

Then, one day, I read a book that inspired me to spend a year cultivating happiness. One thing led to another and, in mid-2014, I quit my job, put my stuff in storage, rented out my house, and began traveling the world on what was supposed to be my version of Eat, Pray, Love. My only rule: follow my heart and soul. 

For a decade, I devoted myself to healing in every way a person can heal and, today, my life is completely different. I am a Well-Resourced Woman. Where I was once barely surviving with maladaptive coping behaviors, I am now thriving. My life is fulfilling, juicy, turned on, and joyful. It is anchored in the openhearted states of gratitude, pleasure, and love. 

A successful day looks like:
-Making sure that I meet my needs so that I can serve my community from a place of overflow and delight (instead of stress and depression).
-Loving and accepting my whole self unconditionally, being connected to my feminine power, and being present for both the magical and the mundane (instead of being bullied by my inner critic, looking to others to determine my self-worth, and living from my neck up).
-Engaging my loved ones with curiosity, delight, and wild fierce grace, choosing to play, grow, and integrate (instead of protecting my heart at all costs and dis-connecting). 

I serve my community as a spiritual guide, energy alchemist, and artist. My medicine is Sovereign Intimacy. My passion is sharing the Art of Joyful Living so that sensitive, brilliant, successful women can heal their relational wounds, quit suffering unnecessarily, fall in love with themselves, create the life of their dreams, define success on their own terms, and experience orgasms with Life. 

I currently support my clients with private 1:1 mentorship and energy alchemy, group programs, and bespoke rituals and ceremonies.
