Find Your Purpose | Create Your Happiness | Live Your Next Chapter.

About

Welcome!

I am so excited you are here!

What Would Your Next Chapter Look Like If You Designed It?

Perhaps you want:

To be a professional who feels energized by her work again.
A more fulfilling relationship with your partner.
The motivation to take control of your health and energy.
To be a Mother who has more joyful, meaningful relationships with her adult children.
To feel confident, healthy, passionate and proud of the life you're creating.

Maybe there's a business idea inside you that you've been putting off.
Maybe there's a passion you've never made time for.
Maybe you're a small business owner and are finding it difficult to motivate your employees.
Maybe you simply want to feel like you again.

There is no right answer...the right answer is YOUR answer.

And your purpose doesn't have to look like anyone else's.

Nor is purpose, one single thing.

Your purpose is all yours - and it's personal.

And so is your path to finding it.

You were born with incredible talents, strengths, passions and instincts. Somewhere along the way...life happened.

You became a mother, a wife, a professional, a caregiver, a partner, a leader.  You became the person everyone needed you to be.

But who are you now?
And perhaps even more importantly…
Who can you become?
You’ve Done It Before. You Can Do It Again.

Think about everything you've already accomplished and learned.
A mother who has raised children and navigated all the complexities that come with it.
A wife or partner who has built a life and relationships.
A lawyer, an insurance agent, an entrepreneur, a teacher, a leader.......

You didn't simply wake up one day as that person.
You grew into her.
You learned. You adapted. You took risks. You developed new skills. You figured things out.
You can do it again!

Your purpose doesn't have to look like anyone else's.

When we begin taking intentional steps instead of simply reacting to life, something changes.
We become more connected to who we really are.
We make choices that align with our values, talents, passions and goals.

And when we begin living as our true selves, we create something incredibly powerful:  A life that feels purposeful. And happy.

Together, we'll:
Explore where you are now
Uncover what matters most to you
Identify the strengths and talents you already possess
Create a practical roadmap for where you want to go next.

Not someone else's life. Yours.

This Is Your Journey. It’s Personal.
You don't need to have everything figured out.
You don't need a five-year plan.

You simply need to be willing to ask yourself:
What do I want?
Who do I want to become?
And what would it take to get there?

We'll figure it out together.
Because you were given this incredible gift of life.

Let's make it fulfilling.
Let's make it joyful.
Let's make it purposeful.
Your next chapter is yours to create.

I am excited to get started!
Nancy

Frequently Asked Questions

What is coaching, and what can it do for me?
Coaching is a collaborative, forward-focused process designed to help you gain clarity about what you want, understand what may be holding you back and take meaningful action toward creating the life you want!

Sampling of popular client topics:
  • Purpose and direction — What do you want this next chapter of your life to look like?
  • Happiness and fulfillment — What brings you joy, energy and meaning?
  • Goals and dreams — What do you want to accomplish or change?
  • Mindset and beliefs — What thoughts or beliefs may be keeping you stuck?
  • Confidence and self-trust — Are you making choices based on what you want or what you think you should want?
  • Relationships and boundaries — Are your relationships supporting the life you want to create?
  • Life transitions — Who are you becoming as your circumstances, priorities, and relationships change?

What can coaching do for me?

Coaching can help you:
  • Get clear on what you really want, rather than what you think you should want.
  • Identify what's keeping you stuck or playing small.
  • Turn ideas and dreams into specific, achievable goals.
  • Build greater confidence and trust in yourself.
  • Change patterns of thinking that may be holding you back.
  • Make more intentional choices instead of simply running on autopilot.
  • Create healthier boundaries and relationships.
  • Navigate a major life transition or next chapter with greater clarity.
  • Take action instead of continuing to say, “Someday…”
  • Create more purpose, happiness, and fulfillment in your everyday life.

Coaching isn't about becoming a completely different person. It's about getting clearer on who you are, what matters to you, and what you want next—and then having the support and accountability to move toward it.

Sometimes you need a big plan. Sometimes you simply need someone to help you take the next right step.

You don't have to have it all figured out. You just have to be willing to start.
What’s the difference between coaching vs. counseling?
Coaching and counseling can both provide valuable support, but they serve different purposes.

Counseling or therapy generally focuses on your emotional and mental well-being, including processing past experiences, managing mental health concerns, healing from trauma and working through challenges that may be affecting your ability to function or feel well.

Coaching is future-focused and action-oriented. It’s about where you are now, where you want to go, and what may be getting in the way. Together, we explore your goals, strengths and choices so you can gain clarity, create a plan, and move forward with greater purpose and confidence.

Coaching is not a replacement for therapy or mental health treatment. If I believe counseling or another professional resource would better support you, I will encourage you to seek the appropriate care.

Think of it this way:
Counseling can help you understand and heal what has happened.
Coaching helps you decide what comes next—and take action toward it.
I’m successful on paper, so why do I still feel like something is missing?
Because success and fulfillment aren't always the same thing.

You can have a successful career, a beautiful family, a fabulous home, financial stability, meaningful relationships—and still find yourself thinking, “Is this it?”

Sometimes the life you've built is exactly what you were supposed to want at one point in your life, but you're changing.

Your priorities may be different. Your children may be older. Your career may no longer excite you in the same way. A relationship may have changed. Or perhaps you've spent so many years taking care of everyone else that you've lost touch with what you actually want.

And sometimes there's nothing obviously wrong. You simply feel restless, unfulfilled, bored, disconnected, or like something is missing—but you can't quite put your finger on what it is.

That's where coaching can help.

Together, we can slow things down and get curious about what's underneath that feeling. What do you want now? What gives you energy? What has been missing? What parts of yourself have you put on the back burner? And what would make this next chapter feel more meaningful and more like you?

You don't necessarily need to blow up your life or make a dramatic change. Sometimes the answer is a shift in perspective, a new goal, a boundary, a long-neglected dream, or simply giving yourself permission to want something different.

You can be grateful for the life you've built and still want more from your life.

Coaching can help you figure out what that “more” means for you—and what to do about it.

Is it too late to change my life?
Absolutely not.

In fact, this stage of life may be one of the best times to make meaningful changes because you know yourself in ways you didn't 20 or 30 years ago.

You've lived. You've learned. You've made mistakes, experienced success, navigated relationships, raised families, built careers, overcome challenges, and probably spent a lot of time taking care of other people.

And somewhere along the way, you may have changed.

Maybe the things you once wanted aren't as important anymore. Maybe you've accomplished many of the things you set out to do and are wondering, “What's next?” Or maybe there are dreams, interests, or parts of yourself you've been putting aside for years.

That doesn't mean you're behind. It means you're ready for a new chapter.

Changing your life doesn't necessarily mean quitting your job, moving across the country, ending a relationship, or starting over. Sometimes the most meaningful changes are much smaller—a new mindset, a new boundary, a new goal, a new habit, or finally giving yourself permission to want something different.

You can't change what has already happened. But you have a tremendous amount of influence over what happens next.

Coaching can help you step back from the expectations, obligations, and “shoulds” that may have shaped your life and ask a different question:

“What do I want now?”

Your next chapter doesn't have to look like your last one.

It's not too late. Your next chapter may just be the one that's finally yours.

What if I know something needs to change, but I don’t know what?
That's okay. You don't have to know before you begin.

Sometimes you simply have a feeling that something isn't quite right. Maybe you're restless, bored, overwhelmed, unfulfilled or just going through the motions. You may find yourself thinking, “I should be happy. Why don't I feel happier?” Or maybe you know you want something different, but you have no idea what that “different” looks like.

You don't need to arrive at coaching with a perfectly defined goal. Finding clarity can be the goal.

Through thoughtful questions and honest conversation, we'll explore what's happening in your life right now—what's working, what's not, what gives you energy, what drains you and what you may have been putting on the back burner.

We'll look at the different areas of your life and begin to uncover what may be missing, what may need to change, and what you actually want for yourself in this next chapter.

And sometimes, clarity doesn't come as one big aha! moment. It happens one realization at a time.

You don't have to know exactly where you're going to take the first step.

My job isn't to tell you what your answer should be. My job is to help you discover your own answers—and then help you turn those answers into action.

Are our conversations kept confidential?
Yes. Your privacy matters to me.

Our coaching conversations are private, and I want you to feel comfortable being open, honest and completely yourself. What you share with me is treated with respect and discretion and I do not share the personal details of our conversations with others.

Coaching works best when you feel safe enough to talk honestly about what's really going on—your thoughts, goals, challenges, relationships, fears and hopes for the future.

If you ever have questions about privacy or confidentiality, I'm happy to talk through them with you.

You deserve a space where you can put down the roles, expectations, and “shoulds” for a while—and simply focus on you.
How should I prepare for our first session?
You don’t need to have everything figured out before we meet. In fact, you don’t even need to know exactly what you want to work on.

Come as you are, with an open mind and a willingness to be honest with yourself. Before our session, it can be helpful to spend a few minutes thinking about:
  • What feels “off” or unsatisfying right now?
  • What would you like to be different?
  • Is there something you’ve been putting off, avoiding, or feeling stuck around?

You may want to jot down a few thoughts, but there’s no right or wrong way to prepare.

Our time together is a judgment-free space to slow down, get curious, and focus on you. I’ll guide the conversation and ask questions to help you uncover what matters most and identify your next steps.

Having a notebook and pen nearby is helpful, too. You may want to write down an insight, realization, goal, or action step that comes up during our conversation.

You don’t have to arrive with the answers. That’s what we’re here to discover.
