When Mom's Good, Everyone's Better!

About

You moved abroad for adventure, opportunity, family, or a fresh start.

Maybe it was a dream you worked hard to make happen.

And yet, somewhere along the way, you stopped feeling like yourself.

Perhaps you've lost your financial independence and find yourself relying on your partner in ways that feel uncomfortable or unfamiliar.

Perhaps you've lost a career, a sense of purpose, or the confidence that came from knowing exactly who you were and what you contributed to the world.

Maybe your marriage feels strained. Between the logistics, stress, parenting, and endless adaptation, you can't seem to find your way back to each other. Conversations that used to feel easy now feel difficult. Resentment, frustration, or loneliness may be quietly growing beneath the surface.

Maybe you're carrying emotions you don't always feel comfortable admitting out loud.

Anger that your partner's opportunity required you to sacrifice so much.

Guilt for feeling unhappy when this was supposed to be an exciting opportunity.

Loneliness even when you're surrounded by people.

Grief for a life you chose to leave behind.

Or perhaps you're simply exhausted from being the emotional anchor for everyone else while having no one holding space for you.

If any of this resonates, you're not alone.

One of the biggest misconceptions about expat life is that relocation is primarily a logistical challenge.

In reality, relocation is often an identity transition.

It doesn't just change where you live.

It can change how you see yourself, your relationships, your confidence, your sense of belonging, your purpose, and your place in the world.

This is where I come in.

As a Certified Ontological Coach, I help expat moms who feel overwhelmed by the loneliness and disorientation of life abroad rebuild their sense of self and community so they can feel rooted, supported, and like they truly belong.

Together, we explore the emotional side of relocation that often goes unspoken: identity shifts, loneliness, grief, partnership challenges, belonging, purpose, and the invisible labor that so many internationally mobile women carry.

But perhaps most importantly, the work we do together isn't a temporary fix for your current move.

My goal is not simply to help you survive this transition.

It's to help you develop a new way of navigating change itself.

The mindset, awareness, tools, and community you gain through our work together become resources you can carry into every future relocation, life transition, career change, reinvention, or unexpected challenge. Whether this is your first international move or your fifth, the work is ultimately about building resilience, self-trust, and a deeper sense of home within yourself.

Because when home exists only in a place, every move can feel destabilizing.

But when home begins to exist within you, you can carry it wherever life takes you.

I know this work intimately because I've lived the expat experience from multiple perspectives.

I was born in Switzerland to Argentine diplomats and spent my childhood moving between countries and cultures. I lived in Russia, Argentina, Austria, the United States, and France, attending twelve different schools across three continents before earning both American and French bachelor's degrees.
Being internationally mobile has always been part of my story.

Today, however, I experience it through a different lens—as a mother of three.
Recently, my husband and I sold everything we owned, left behind the life we had built in the United States, and moved our family to Argentina so our children could experience the same gift that shaped my life: a global perspective and the opportunity to grow up across cultures.

Through this journey, I have experienced international mobility not only as the child navigating change, but also as the parent responsible for helping an entire family find their footing in a new place.

I know what it feels like when the familiar disappears.

I know what it's like to question whether you'll ever belong, to miss the version of yourself that felt capable and certain, and to carry the emotional responsibility of helping everyone else adapt while trying to find your own way.

And I also know what is possible on the other side.

Because with the right support, tools, mindset, and community, expat life can become one of the most transformative experiences of our lives.

You don't have to lose yourself to gain the world.

I would be honored to walk alongside you (in either English or Spanish) as you create a life abroad that feels not only successful on the outside, but meaningful, connected, and deeply your own.

Testimonials

My sessions with Daniela were playful, introspective and extremely illuminating. Each session began with what I wanted to discuss that day, and when that was unclear, Daniela skillfully guided the conversation based on my feelings and sensations, leading to meaningful self-discovery.

Daniela is an unafraid facilitator who creates space for her clients through music, artistic activities, or simply being present in silence. This gave me permission to excavate my true thoughts and feelings, empowering me to find my own solutions. Her insights are offered only with permission, never as mandates.

I believe these sessions would benefit anyone, but especially first-time mothers like myself who are seeking to connect with their humanity and find grounding during times of great transition.

Through Daniela's coaching, I learned how to see and interpret parts of my reality in a whole new way! Daniela is an amazing coach.

She made me feel comfortable, heard, and confident throughout the session. The exercises she used were powerful and aligned perfectly with what we discussed.

I highly recommend her!
