Frequently Asked Questions
Is this a fitness program?
No. While walking is an important part of the experience, the focus is on rebuilding routine, accountability, and forward momentum. The walking simply creates a relaxed environment for meaningful conversation and reflection.
Who is this program designed for?
The program is intended for mid-life professionals who feel off track, disconnected from routine, or are looking to regain consistency and direction. Some participants are navigating career transitions, while others are simply looking to reconnect with goals they’ve struggled to follow through on.
What happens during a typical session?
Each 1-hour session begins with a brief check-in and warm-up, followed by a guided walk (30 mins) and structured conversation based on the weekly journal exercise. Together we’ll reflect on progress, discuss challenges, and identify practical actions to carry into the coming week.
What if I’m not very fit?
That’s perfectly okay. This isn’t about speed, distance, or athletic ability. Walks are adjusted to each participant’s comfort level and are designed to support conversation rather than physical performance.
How much time should I expect to commit each week?
In addition to your 1-hour guided session, participants are encouraged to complete two independent walks during the week. The goal isn’t to consume your schedule, it's to create a sustainable routine that fits into everyday life.
Do I have to be looking for work to participate?
No. While the program is well suited to people experiencing career transition, it’s equally valuable for professionals who remain employed but feel stuck, disconnected from routine, or ready to make meaningful changes.
Can my spouse, partner, or friend join me?
Yes. A limited number of shared placements are available by invitation for couples or friends who want to work through the program together. These sessions are slightly longer (60-90 minutes) and are designed to support shared accountability while still allowing space for individual reflection.
What if I miss a session?
Life happens. If you need to reschedule, simply provide at least 24-hours notice and we’ll work together to find another time whenever feasible. Full scheduling details are outlined before the program begins.
Is this coaching or counselling?
Neither exactly. The program is a structured accountability and facilitation process. It combines guided walking, practical conversation, and consistent follow-through to help participants build momentum. It is not therapy or a clinical counselling service.
How do I know if this program is right for me?
The best place to start is with a conversation. Before anyone joins the program, we’ll discuss your goals, where you’re feeling stuck, and whether the program feels like a good fit for your needs. Sometimes the answer is yes—and sometimes it’s not. The goal is finding the right fit, not simply filling a space. Book a FREE consultation and let's begin!
Why walking?
Great question! Walking creates movement without pressure. It gets us out of our usual environment, reduces distractions, and often makes conversation feel more natural. Over time, many people discover that physical movement creates space for reflection and reflection often leads to greater clarity.
