Melissa Danielle
Coach, mama, farmer, and professional instigator helping ambitious first-time moms over 35 thrive in motherhood.
About
I'm Melissa Danielle, and I'm so glad you're here.
I believe that we can have it all, we just don't have to do it all.
As a midlife motherhood and money coach, I want to inspire women to reimagine the way they can experience motherhood, and then go out and live it.
We've been told a story about motherhood that in order for our families to be healthy and happy, we have to give up the parts of ourselves that make us who we are, that make us feel alive and connected to ourselves and others -- and this simply isn't true.
The current reality of motherhood -- unpaid and unacknowledged labor, the mundanity of domestic life, the mental load, the motherhood penalty, the hormonal changes, the loneliness, the regret -- the stuff no one dares to talk about in public, are all soul killers. But it doesn't have to be this way.
Preparing for motherhood is more than just about how you want to give birth or setting up a meal train (but we can go over all of that, too). it’s about how you shape the life you want for both yourself and your child(ren). And this may look different from how your mother and the mothers around you lived and parented.
If we decide to work together, I'll be your guide as you create a new version of motherhood, one where your health is vibrant, your finances are secure, and you become more resilient with each new challenge. This isn’t a detour or a diversion from the life you once had. This is a deliberate, powerful step into a future you’ve designed with intention and purpose.
If you're a breadwinner over 35 and just getting started on your ttc journey, you're already challenging the status quo. And you need more than childbirth education and postpartum planning. So let's talk story.
I live on O'ahu with my partner and child. In addition to supporting moms, I'm helping friends and neighbors become food self-sufficient. You can learn more about that at hawaiitowerfarms.com.

I am a settler on this ‘āina who now calls O'ahu home. I can trace my family’s roots in Brooklyn, NY by way of North and South Carolinas, New Jersey, Virginia Nigeria, and Europe.

I acknowledge that the ‘āina on which I reside is part of the larger territory recognized by Indigenous Hawaiians as their ancestral grandmother, Papahānaumoku.
I recognize that her majesty Queen Lili‘uokalani yielded the Hawaiian Kingdom and these territories under duress and protest to the United States to avoid the bloodshed of her people. I further recognize that Hawai‘i remains an illegally occupied state of the United States of America.
I recognize that each moment I am in Hawai‘i she nourishes and gifts me with the opportunity to breathe her air, eat from her soils, drink from her waters, bathe in her sun, swim in her oceans, be kissed by her rains, and be embraced by her winds. I further recognize that generations of Indigenous Hawaiians and their knowledge systems shaped Hawai‘i in sustainable ways that allow me to enjoy these gifts today.
For this I am grateful, and as a settler I seek to support the varied strategies that the Indigenous peoples of Hawai‘i are using to protect their land and their communities, and I commit to dedicating time and resources to working in solidarity.
