LIVING CENTER STAGE

Grow into yourself. Glow into the world. Private coaching & small group experiences for authentic, empowered living.

About

Living Center Stage is an invitation to come home to yourself.

I’m Marjorie Proctor, a coach, creative, and long-time educator who believes that when we live from our authentic center, our lives expand in meaningful and unexpected ways. For many of us, especially women who have spent years showing up for others, confidence and self-trust don’t disappear—they simply get quiet. Living Center Stage is where we listen again.

My work is grounded in the belief that authenticity is not about becoming someone new, but about remembering who you are beneath expectations, roles, and old patterns of “should.” When you reconnect with that inner truth, creativity opens, choices feel clearer, and opportunities begin to grow, not just for you, but for those you impact.

Through private coaching and small group experiences, I create reflective, supportive spaces where you can slow down, speak honestly, explore what’s next, and practice showing up with greater presence and self-belief. My approach is gentle, creative, and deeply human, rooted in conversation, reflection, and embodied awareness rather than pressure or performance.

Living Center Stage is for those who are ready to live with intention, trust themselves more fully, and step into a life that feels aligned, empowered, and alive.

Testimonials

"Marjorie is one gifted coach! I feel like we are so used to always being "on" that it's difficult to really commit to being vulnerable. Marjorie really understands this and is able to pull from you the real meaning behind what your "on" is. I felt very comfortable in sharing my ideas and getting some really good feedback. I feel like she's the best person for this kind of work-I love the support and encouragement!"

- Lori Wilkerson-Dancer, Educator

"Energy, commitment and listening skills were spot on! Loved how she zeroes in on the goal and cuts right to it!"

- Joe Brian-Retired CPA/Real Estate Developer

"Marjorie is very well organized with logical progression-no fluff-each activity had structure, purpose, and the cumulative effect of generating in me active motivation, hope, excitement, and belief."

- Heidi Twitchell-Transactions Manager at Thomas James Homes, Board Director, McKinley

"It was the right amount of personal and 'coaching'. The pulling out elements, themes, and journaling, helped me to see what I was needing. Let's put it this way, I have been feeling body, mind, and life-negative for weeks, and now that is gone and I feel light, and open."

- Kira Johnson-Howe-Educator

"We cannot always see our goals by ourselves. You helped me to reconnect with my vision again!"

- Luz Banuelos

"Her genuine joy and authenticity to help others see and achieve their goals and dreams is clearly present. She creates a safe and loving space to be vulnerable and dive deep! Amazing communication and listening skills. So genuine and authentic!"

Frequently Asked Questions

What is life coaching, and how is it different from therapy or counseling?
Coaching focuses on helping you move forward and achieve specific goals. Therapy addresses deeper emotional or psychological issues, often dealing with past experiences. Coaching is action-oriented and future-focused, while therapy often explores the past to understand present challenges. Coaches help you develop strategies and skills, while therapists work on healing and emotional well-being. They can complement each other, but they are distinct practices.
What are the benefits of working with a life coach?
Coaching can provide clarity, focus, and support as you work towards your goals. It can help you identify limiting beliefs, develop new skills, improve your decision-making, increase your self-awareness, and create a more fulfilling life. Ultimately, coaching empowers you to take control and create the life you want.
What kind of issues or goals can life coaching address?
Coaching can address a wide range of areas, including career development, relationships, work-life balance, personal growth, stress management, communication skills, and achieving specific goals like starting a business, writing a book, or improving health and wellness.
How do I know if coaching is right for me?
If you're feeling stuck, unfulfilled, or have a strong desire to make positive changes in your life, coaching could be a good fit. It's important to be willing to be open, honest, and committed to the process. A consultation can help determine if our coaching styles are a good match.
How long does the coaching process typically last?
The length of coaching varies depending on your goals and progress. Some clients achieve their desired outcomes in a few months, while others benefit from longer-term support. We can discuss a timeline that works for you during our initial consultation.
What is the typical format of a coaching session?
Sessions typically last 60 minutes and can be conducted in person, or video call. We'll discuss your progress, address challenges, explore new perspectives, and develop action steps for the week ahead.
What is expected of me as client?
Active participation is key. This includes being honest, open, and willing to do the work between sessions. Being committed to your goals and showing up prepared for sessions will contribute significantly to your success.
How many sessions will I need?
This depends on your specific goals and the complexity of the issues you're addressing. We can discuss a recommended number of sessions during our initial consultation. I do not recommend signing up for just one session. Building rapport, and allowing the process to work does take time.
