Lisa Danzig

Coaching and consulting for leaders navigating growth, transition, and transformation—with unlimited access when it matters most.

About

I started as a criminal investigator in a county jail, then led strategic planning for the city agency responsible for creating affordable housing in NYC.  I helped to improve green housing and reduce veterans homelessness at HUD, became the Chief Performance Officer in the White House, consulted to federal agencies while at Deloitte and then led global talent strategies at Walmart.  I am passionate about helping people understand themselves and their beliefs to get out of their own way.  I am big believer in the old adage that ‘we don’t see things as they are, we see them as we are.’

Testimonials

For years, I felt a growing need for a professional change, but the path forward was a complete blur. My previous experiences with executive coaches had been frustrating; I didn't need someone to just ask 'what do you think?' I needed direct guidance to expose my blind spots and expand my horizons, all while staying true to my core values. Lisa has expertly balanced directness with insightful guidance. Lisa never shied away from challenging my thinking (always kindly!), making me feel incredibly supported and empowered throughout the process. I'm amazed by the clarity I've gained and genuinely excited to pursue the ideas we've uncovered. I wholeheartedly recommend Lisa to any professional seeking a skilled 'sherpa' to navigate and elevate their career journey.

- Noha Gaber, Senior Advisor, US Environmental Protection Agency

It was hard to imagine how someone outside of my industry might understand and it was an investment, of both time and money, and I was putting everything into my current role. Lisa has really helped me to look at things from above the fray and realize how much time and headspace I was giving to the parts of the job that weren't impactful. She also really helped me to rationalize that having a better work life balance wasn't just okay, it was necessary. I feel like there is an opportunity to grow from each session. Having a sounding board that is just for you, not in your organization, there is no agenda... that's been priceless.

- Diane M. Miller, Chief of Staff, Northwestern University, Pritzker School of Law

My hesitation about coaching was if I would have enough time to dedicate to make the changes I would like. Working with Lisa made me see how small changes can have an impact. From our work my confidence in myself, my experience, education, and abilities has grown. It makes a huge impact to have someone give you an outside perspective and create a safe space. Lisa will tell you the truth from an outside perspective while not judging you. Working with Lisa helped me to see the bigger picture and understand that I can handle it.

- Erica Amerault, Senior Manager, Patient Identity Health & Wellness, Walmart

"Lisa is very empathetic but is also very astute. Without warning she will ask you the most thought provoking questions that lets you see things in a completely new and clearer light."

- Marco Vaca, Solutions Architect, College Board
