About
Hi, I'm Katy — and I didn't come to this work from a textbook.
I came to it through my own seasons of starting over, rebuilding, and learning what it actually means to lead yourself before you can lead anyone else. That lived experience shapes everything about how I coach.
I'm an ICF-credentialed coach (ACC) with over 20 years of experience in leadership development, facilitation, and coaching. Through Shine Leadership Studio, I work one-on-one with founders, leaders, and professionals who are navigating growth, transition, or a season that feels especially full. Through Shine Strategies, I partner with organizations to build stronger, more human leadership cultures.
My approach is warm, direct, and grounded in the whole person — not just the professional challenge in front of you. I believe you can be both bold and reflective, ambitious and grounded, strategic and heart-centered. And I believe leadership gets better when we stop pretending it has to look just one way.
