About
π― How I Partner With Leaders
I serve as an objective, trusted sounding board for executives, CEOs, and leadership teams. My focus is on driving measurable growth, ensuring operational alignment, and unlocking personal and organizational performance.
- Strategic Sounding Board: One-on-one partnerships designed to navigate high-stakes decision-making and stakeholder complexity.
- Enterprise & Team Solutions: Data-driven Hogan Assessment Offsites and bespoke Team Facilitation to optimize executive team dynamics, resolve misalignment, and lock down organizational strategy.
π Core Areas of Expertise
I focus exclusively on three high-value pillars, delivering tangible business outcomes and leadership longevity:
1. Navigating Parental Leave and Mid Career Support for Senior Women
Supporting career continuity for senior women moving into or returning from maternity leave. I help leaders navigate the complexities of pre-leave planning, boundary management, and a seamless, confident re-entry into high-stakes senior leadership roles.
2. Stepping Into a New Executive Role
Ensuring success and managing transitions for newly appointed leaders. I partner with leaders to accelerate their impact in their vital first few months, helping them navigate complex stakeholder landscapes, secure rapid "early wins," and establish long-term authority.
3. AI Strategic Leadership & Performance
Guiding leaders through change management and AI adoption. As organizations build and execute AI strategies, I serve as an objective partner helping leaders manage the human side of tech adoption, align executive stakeholders, and excel in rapidly evolving environments.
π§ Why Partners Trust Me (The Background)
My coaching is backed by 15+ years of operational, strategic, and commercial experience at the highest levels of business. I understand the realities of executive pressure because I have lived them.
- The Track Record: I have worked across venture capital, in-house strategy, top-tier consulting, and commercial development for market-leading brands including Sky, BBC, Grosvenor Food & AgTech, and OC&C.
- The Executive Lens: I have operated as a Board Observer for a successful pharma business, and as Chief of Staff / Right Hand to the CEO, advising and aligning corporate Executive Teams.
- The Credentials: Navigating strategy, operations, and commercial partnerships, I pair my corporate background with rigorous coaching credentials, having trained via the Certified Professional Coach course (CTA) and working towards my ICF Accreditation.
π‘ About Kate
Based in Cheshire, Kate balances her professional advisory practice with a busy family life alongside her husband, three children, and their dog. A keen sportswoman, when she isnβt partnering with business leaders, you can usually find her on the tennis court or at the gym.
A recent coachee (Director at KPMG) said the following, "Working with Kate was a wonderful experience. Through a combination of structured and ad-hoc sessions she helped me to define what I wanted to achieve professionally and plan out how I could get there in the short, medium and long term (whilst staying true to my values). I would not hesitate to recommend Kate as a coach - she's fantastic at it!"

What is the difference between coaching and mentoring?
This is such a key question and the distinction is commonly misunderstood.
The ICF define coaching as "partnering with clients in a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires them to maximize their personal and professional potential."
Crucially, a coach will not tell you what to do. They will work with you to uncover the answers yourself. Working with a coach can be truly transformative. It is not for everyone, all of the time - but if the timing is right it can be incredibly powerful,
A mentor is someone who has been there/ done it, and will pass on wisdom based on their own experiences.
