I know because I was one of them. After surgery, I was off work for three months and my income was cut in half. I remember asking a friend if they could lend me £20 until payday. They said “no”

That moment made me realise how vulnerable I was. After years of building a career, I was still relying on one salary, so I decided to change that.

While working full-time, I turned the skills I’d developed over my career into a coaching business. Not because I wanted to become an entrepreneur, but because I wanted more financial security, more freedom, and more choice. Today, I help professionals do the same.
