Helping Students and Families Strengthen the Skills Behind Success
About
I’m an Executive Function Coach with a Master’s in Education and over 28 years of experience supporting neurodiverse learners of all ages.
I help students, parents, and professionals build the self-management skills that make life feel calmer and more organized — skills like planning, time management, task initiation, and emotional regulation.
Executive Function (EF) is how the brain manages thoughts, emotions, and actions to reach goals. When EF skills are strong, daily life flows more smoothly. When they’re under strain, we see things like:
- Procrastination or difficulty getting started
- Feeling constantly “behind” or overwhelmed
- Disorganization at work, home, or school
- Emotional frustration when plans change or expectations shift
I work with both kids and adults to turn these everyday challenges into practical, sustainable systems that build confidence, focus, and follow-through — so they can thrive at school, at work, and at home.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is Executive Function coaching?
Executive Function (EF) coaching helps students (and parents) strengthen the brain-based skills that support organization, planning, focus, time management, and emotional regulation. Instead of focusing on specific school subjects, EF coaching teaches how to learn and manage responsibilities more effectively.
Who is this coaching for?
My sessions are designed for middle and high school students who need support with routines, school organization, task initiation, and emotional regulation — and for parents who want to learn how to reinforce EF skills at home.
What happens during a session?
Each session blends conversation, reflection, and strategy practice. We identify what’s working, what’s not, and build realistic systems for home and school success. You’ll leave with clear next steps and practical tools to use right away.
Do you meet online or in person?
All coaching sessions are held live online via Zoom. This format makes it easy for families to participate from anywhere and allows for shared visuals like planners, checklists, or digital calendars.
How is this different from tutoring or therapy?
Executive Function coaching focuses on skills, not subjects. I help clients develop systems for planning, organization, and emotional control — the tools that make tutoring and classroom learning more effective. Coaching is forward-focused and collaborative, not clinical or diagnostic.
Do parents participate?
Yes — for younger clients, parents play a key role in reinforcing EF strategies at home. I often provide short check-ins or written follow-ups with parent guidance and home strategies.
What’s your background?
I’m a certified Executive Function Coach and Reading Specialist with over 28 years in education. I’ve led schoolwide EF programs, coached students and parents, and designed curriculum focused on organization, planning, and independence.
How long does coaching take to see progress?
Most families begin to notice positive changes in 4–6 sessions as routines become more consistent and students gain awareness of their own strategies. Long-term growth builds through regular practice and feedback.
