About

If you’re here, you may be standing at a threshold: New job, new role, new stage in life, or just a change in mindset.

My work is for those moments.

I help thoughtful, capable people navigate the growing tension between who they are, how they live, and what they’re being asked to do, particularly during a time of change.

Testimonials

"I was thinking the process was enjoyable, helpful in some ways, but not really life-changing. And then Jennifer asked me a simple but profound question that no one had ever asked me before, and that I'd never considered asking of myself. That question was like a magic unlock. It led me to a profound understanding of my own power."

- Organizational leader, feeling stuck in mid-career

"A board member signed me up and paid for my coaching, so I agreed, not really expecting anything. In our third session, Jennifer brought a worksheet that seemed like a middle school exercise. I still don't know how or why it worked, but it was like putting a mirror in front of the part of me I just didn't want to see, that I'd been pretending wasn't there. And it felt gentle and safe, like it was finally OK to be myself."

- Organizational leader in a high-stakes, high-conflict situation

Frequently Asked Questions

I'm already in my new role. Is it too late to start the First 100 Days work?
No; the right time to begin is when you are ready to explore a new approach or mindset, which may or may not align with the formal first day in a new role or job.
What's your. coaching philosophy?
I believe we are each and all whole and complete individuals, capable of acknowledging our own needs, solving our own problems, and authoring our own stories. Sometimes we can get stuck or lost in that story loop, though, and that's when working with a trained, objective coach can help.
What's the difference between coaching and counseling?
Coaching and counseling are two different and distinct areas. The way I describe this difference is that counseling is a clinical treatment, whereas coaching is a collaborative co-thinking process. The two are not mutually exclusive. Both disciplines are confidential, guided by a professional code of ethics, and offered by trained practitioners. In both fields, providers should willingly share their education, experience, and credentials so clients can make informed decisions in choosing a professional to work with.
Can I book multiple coaching sessions without doing the "First 100 Days" work?
Absolutely. The best way to explore that idea is to book a free introductory call so we can determine if we're a good match and map out a plan accordingly.
