What happens in an initial conversation?
We talk through what's going on for you and explore whether coaching might help. You can ask me anything and get a feel for how I work, so you can decide whether you'd like to start working together. There's no obligation and no pressure. 
What does a typical coaching session look like? 
Every session is different, because every person and situation is unique. You might start by talking through everything that's on your mind. I'll help you gain perspective - reflecting back what I'm hearing, asking questions that open up new ways of thinking, and helping you make sense of what's really going on. Sometimes it feels like a conversation; sometimes we use more structured approaches. We follow what's most useful for you. 
How do I know if I'm ready for coaching? 
There's probably no such thing as ready. But if you find yourself going round in circles, covering the same ground in your thinking, or struggling to move forward, coaching can help you find a way through. My approach is gentle and grounded. We work at your pace, in a way that suits you. 
What if I don't know what I want to work on yet? 
That's completely fine, and more common than you might think. People often come to coaching with a vague sense that something needs to change, without quite knowing what or how. Figuring that out together is often where we begin.
