About

YOUR COACH, RAELEE

A PCI CERTIFIED PARENT COACH®, guiding parents to create warm, connected homes since 1999. I help parents move from frustration to connection by shifting from behavior-focused to relationship-first parenting—using rhythm and everyday moments to ease struggles and bring more harmony.

My approach is different because I don't focus on managing behavior or teaching skills your child isn't developmentally ready for. Instead, I help you strengthen the foundation that makes everything else possible: your relationship with your child. When children feel deeply connected to us, they naturally want to cooperate, listen, and grow. I work with parents to understand what their child really needs at each stage of development, so you can work with their nature rather than against it. This means less battling symptoms and more removing the obstacles that get in the way of natural growth.

Specializing in support for parents of children, tweens, and teens who feel stuck in power struggles, I offer a compassionate and practical approach that honors both you and your child.

Married for over 25 years and a mother to two young adults, Isabel and Keaton, I've walked the parenting journey from infancy to young adulthood.

When I'm not coaching, you'll find me in beginning yoga, strength training in my tiny home living room!, walking or chatting with my kids, mom, or friends, studying the works and courses of Dr. Gordon Neufeld or Dr. Greer Kirshenbaum, watching Netflix with my hubby and snuggling my cat, Gordon (yes, after my fave Developmentalist G. Neufeld).

Honoring My Mentors
I am deeply grateful to the mentors and guides whose wisdom has shaped my path and deepened my understanding of parenting, discipline, and connection.

My parents, Ray and Joanne—They raised me with unwavering love, authenticity, and resilience. Their steadfast faith and gentle guidance made the teachings of the Baha'i Faith a natural path for me to walk. I am forever grateful.

Kim John Payne—His work in Simplicity Parenting and The Soul of Discipline helped me create the family life I longed for. His insight into discipline as a reflection of values transformed my approach to motherhood and gave me the gift of helping parents bring more ease and connection into their homes.

Dr. Gordon Neufeld—His profound understanding of attachment, emotion, and human development changed how I see parenting. Through his teachings, I learned to look beyond behavior and into the heart of connection, fostering relationships that nurture true maturity.

Dr. Greer Kirshenbaum—Her groundbreaking work in nurture neuroscience and her compassionate mission to end traditional sleep training opened my eyes to how we can honor both biology and attachment in those tender early years. Her research-backed approach to responsive parenting has deepened my commitment to supporting families from the very beginning, helping parents trust their instincts and their babies' needs.

“It feels like I’m doing this all alone, and I don’t know if I’m making the right decisions for my kids or my family.”

Where do you meet with clients?
I work 100% virtually. I prefer to meet parents by zoom but sometimes we revert to a phone call when it's more convenient for the parent.
My Philosophy
Parenting is not about perfect strategies or quick fixes—it’s about connection, rhythm, and guiding our children with clarity and warmth. I believe that when we shift from child-centered parenting to values-driven parenting, we create a home where both parents and children thrive.

I know how easy it is to get caught in cycles of power struggles, frustration, and exhaustion. When daily life feels chaotic, we may resort to control or constant negotiation, losing sight of the bigger picture. But when we step back, simplify, and realign with what truly matters, parenting becomes more intuitive and fulfilling.

The key isn’t managing our children’s behavior—it’s deepening our relationship with them. When we slow down, create rhythms that support connection, and lead with confidence and empathy, struggles ease, cooperation grows, and home becomes a place of harmony.

It’s never too late to parent with more presence, trust, and alignment. Whether you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or simply longing for more ease in your days, I’m here to walk alongside you as you build the family life you truly want.

Create a home environment that fosters cooperation, growth, and joy.
