About

I help young men become the kind of adults they want to be.

Through coaching, teens learn how to take ownership of their choices, follow through on commitments, build confidence, and develop habits that serve them for life.

Whether they're struggling with motivation, responsibility, organization, or simply finding their footing, coaching provides the structure, support, and honest conversations that help them move forward.

My goal is simple: less dependence on reminders and pressure from others, and more self-direction, confidence, and pride in who they're becoming.

Introductory Call

Your son isn't giving you a hard time.
He's having a hard time.

And most boys are never taught what's actually happening inside their own heads — or what to do about it.

If you're here because you're ready to change that, let's talk.

Thirty minutes.
No pressure.
You'll know by the end whether this is right for you both.

The Foundation: Coaching for Young Men

What If the Problem Isn't Him?
He's smart.
You know it.
His teachers probably know it too.

But somewhere between the potential you see and the effort you're watching — there's a gap.

Maybe he's pulling back from things that used to matter.
Maybe he's avoiding hard conversations, hard assignments, or hard decisions. Maybe he's just... coasting.

It's not laziness.
It's not attitude.
It's a missing foundation.

The habits, mindset, and skills he builds right now — at 14, 15, 16, 17 — become the identity he carries for the rest of his life.

The Foundation gives him the structure and challenge to build them well, before patterns become permanent.

Testimonials

Coaching taught me one of the most useful skills I’ve learned: knowing which weaknesses can and can't be redirected into strengths.

- Lincoln

There's been massive improvement on the home front. Huge shifts. It’s changing all of our lives.

- Nicole

The change in our son has been overwhelmingly positive. He seems to feel a new sense of agency in his own life and that he is being exposed to some of the tools and knowledge that will allow him to concertedly work towards goals of his own choosing.
I am grateful for the part you are playing in this process.

- Father

Let's Talk About Your Son

You already know your son is capable of more. This isn't a commitment to coaching. It's just a conversation about what's working, what's not, and what comes next.

Frequently Asked Questions

What types of teens benefit most from coaching?
The Foundation is designed for teen boys who are intelligent and capable but struggling with motivation, follow-through, organization, confidence, or taking ownership of their responsibilities. Many of the boys I work with aren't failing; they simply aren't living up to their potential and need structure, guidance, and accountability outside of home.
How is coaching different from therapy or tutoring?
Tutoring focuses on academics. Therapy often focuses on emotional healing and mental health. Coaching focuses on helping your son move forward. We work on practical life skills such as responsibility, decision-making, confidence, habit-building, communication, and follow-through. The goal is to help him become more independent and capable in everyday life.
What if my son isn't excited about coaching?
That's completely normal. Most teens aren't initially excited about anything their parents suggest. My approach is conversational, supportive, and focused on helping teens identify what matters to them. Once they see coaching isn't another lecture and realize they're being treated with respect, they typically become much more engaged.
What results can I realistically expect?
Every teen is different, but parents often notice increased responsibility, improved follow-through, better communication, greater self-awareness, and more willingness to take initiative. Coaching isn't about creating a perfect teenager. It's about helping your son build the skills and confidence needed to take ownership of his life.
Will I receive updates on my son's progress?
Yes. Parents receive regular updates on overall progress, goals, and areas of growth. At the same time, coaching works best when teens have a space where they can speak openly and honestly. The balance is transparency for parents while preserving the trust necessary for meaningful coaching conversations.
