Frank Neurodivergence Coaching

About

Howdy, I’m Frank. And to be frank, I’m neurodivergent and have done a lot of different things in my past. Diagnosed ADD at 20; Bipolar at 23. I’ve been a coder, a pope, a project manager, a bead pusher, the president of the board, a volunteer manager at Burning Man, and an artistic arsonist. I’m excited to evolve into my final form as a Neurodivergence Coach. Having coached for almost 2 years and with over 200 hours under my belt, this year I’ve completed an ICF-certified Leadership Coach program and will be an ICF Associate Certified Coach very soon.

My mission is to create a safe space to explore your struggles and hopes and to provide insight through reflection, clarification, and asking deep questions. I prefer the term player over client, since each session is an opportunity to play with your reality and develop experiments to play with between sessions. The coaching relationship is one in which we both put work into. It is a collaborative process that serves the player, empowering you to take charge of the choices you make and the way you think about them.

My method is ever-changing as I grow and learn from my players, but focuses on these:
  • Applied Mindfulness: when to actually use that deep breath to influence choice points
  • Values Mining: finding what drives you and how to bring it into daily motivation
  • Process Analysis: finding incremental changes with extensive effects
  • Self-Leadership: gracefully gaining more control of your inner commander
  • Playful Experimentation: inventing your own path and solutions as a joyful exercise

What will come of this? My intent is to help you not just see the steps along the journey, but to stock your toolkit so you can build the next step. And the next step. And again. And to celebrate each step as the success it is and to treat yourself with grace when it all collapses. I look forward to our coaching journey together!

Testimonials

Frank is a wonderful, empathetic, understanding, funny, and emotionally attuned Coach. He helps keep you positive, and focused on actual goals for things in your control to shift — while understanding just how difficult achieving them can be for someone with ADHD. His sense of humor and compassion is much needed in a world where neurodivergence can often mean a life full of relational pain due to rejection for being different. I highly recommend working with Frank, and as an added bonus he's very accommodating about my issues with time management! 😂

Frank is not only an exceptional coach, but a wonderful person. Over the time I've known him, my respect and admiration have only grown. His wisdom and life experience have always been apparent to me and I knew I would benefit from his guidance when he approached me about the prospect of coaching. In the months since, I've made significant strides towards my goals and, with patience, I fully anticipate they will be achieved with Frank's help. His sensitivity to neurodivergent factors is immense and should not be undervalued. He genuinely understands and passes no judgement. As such, I've always felt safe talking with him about anything. All of this is paramount to success in the coaching journey and is a big part of why I would recommend his coaching sessions to anyone. I'm very fortunate to have him in my corner of the ring. No matter what hits may come, he always stands me up and keeps me fighting. Thanks, Frank.

Working with Frank has been an empowering experience. As someone who’s neurodivergent and often struggles with executive function, I’ve tried my share of planners, productivity hacks, and rigid systems that just didn’t stick. But Frank approaches things differently, with a deep understanding of how neurodivergence affects functioning within the “norms” of societal expectations. They meet you exactly where you are, with no shame, no judgment, and help you build tools that actually fit your life and goals. Not sure what your goals are yet? Frank will help you explore that, too.
What really sets them apart is their creativity and empathy. They sometimes use gaming language (referring to clients as "Players"), which makes the process feel more accessible and less intimidating. And they don’t just give advice. They collaborate with you. They’re intuitive, adaptable, and unafraid to gently nudge you out of your comfort zone in ways that feel safe and doable. When life inevitably shifts, they help you shift with it.
Thanks to Frank’s presence and methods, I’ve made real progress, not just with goals, but in how I relate to myself. If you’re looking for a coach who truly gets it and can help you grow without burning out (one of my biggest personal hurdles), this is the one.
