Strength in Difference

About

Hi, I’m Suzanne, a fully trained ADHD and Executive Function coach. As a late diagnosed adult, I want people to avoid the difficulties I experienced by not understanding my different wiring. I now help kids, teens, young adults and adults with ADHD understand why “just try harder” doesn’t work. Flex ADHD is a warm, jargon-free space where my clients learn more about their ADHD, their strengths and learn skills to power through revision, overwhelm, procrastination, emotional dysregulation and more.

Testimonials

My 15-year-old son has ADHD and suffers with low self-esteem and negative self-talk. Suzanne has been brilliant with him. She put him at ease from the very first session, and he’s enjoying the coaching. She helps him come up with ideas about how to cope with situations, and how to move forward. He's also gaining a better understanding of how his ADHD brain works, which has been so valuable. After the sessions, Suzanne provides him with visual printouts that help reinforce what he has learnt. I’m so pleased that we found Suzanne, and that my son now has this regular support. I feel that he’s gaining invaluable scaffolding for himself, for his future. If you are considering an ADHD coach for your teenager, I would highly recommend her.

From the very first moment I began my coaching journey with Suzanne, I knew I was in exceptionally professional hands.
She possesses a profound understanding of the world of ADHD, but beyond her expertise, she is truly a rare individual. Suzanne, offers immense patience, an extraordinary ability to listen, and unwavering support that instills confidence even during the most challenging moments.
The process with her helped me bring order to the areas where I felt most 'stuck.' Thanks to her, for the first time, I learned how to create a realistic schedule that is actually sustainable. She provided me with practical tools for effective and efficient management, which has significantly improved my focus. Suddenly, tasks that once felt like insurmountable mountains have become small and manageable.
However, the true value for me was learning how to leverage my strengths. Suzanne, didn't try to 'fix' me; instead, she taught me to recognise my unique abilities and harness them in my daily life.
I highly recommend Suzanne, to anyone struggling with ADHD who feels overwhelmed or lost—do not miss the opportunity to work with her. If you want to be more focused, more successful, and above all, to live effectively and in peace with your ADHD, she is the perfect person to guide you! ❤️

Living in a household of people with ADHD, yet not having it myself, I came to Suzanne for coaching, to work through some issues that I was having with regards to self-belief and direction. I've had a number of sessions with Suzanne now, and I feel that as a coach she is attentive, interested, and insightful. She has helped guide me to come up with my own ideas, which is empowering. I can honestly say that I have made great progress!

Suzanne is a lovely , thoughtful and caring person , she is genuine , and great at keeping the flow flowing. I’ve found the sessions constructive , and they have helped me understand things to a much greater level. I feel like now I know a lot more about ADHD , it’s easier to deal with some of the things I struggle with.

I started working with Suzanne approximately 6 weeks ago. To be honest I was slightly
sceptical as I have very extensive knowledge around ADHD and neuro diversity.
All 3 of my young adult children have an ADHD/High Functioning Autism diagnosis. I have
been living in the world of neuro diversity for over 2 decades.
As a late diagnosed ADHD female I have had a lot of therapy over the past few years around
my ADHD. I often found that my knowledge on ADHD was superior to the ‘expert’
therapists. I always left frustrated ad feeling hopeless. The sessions were a lot of talking
and not much help or strategy.
I then came across Suzanne who explained to me that she could teach me strategies to work
with my ADHD to manage my very stressful and challenging life which in turn created a lot
of anxiety for me.
During the first session I knew something was different…. Better! This woman not only
understood my ‘predicament’ but had a toolbox of strategies that could help me with self
regulation and constant overwhelm.
After a few sessions I already feel more in control with my ADHD. Suzanne’s manner
creates an environment where I feel supported and safe. I can’t recommend her highly
enough…. I feel like she has really saved me as my ADHD had worsened with menopause
and I really felt like a lost cause. Her practical solutions really do work and I feel so lucky to
have found her!
My children will also be booking sessions with her to help them with their own ADHD
challenges.

Frequently Asked Questions

How involved will parents be in the process?
Think of me as the "ADHD translator." While coaching sessions are a private, safe space for young adults to be authentic and honest, I provide parents with the framework of the strengths-based approach we are taking. We focus on forward momentum and building independence, not just "managing" symptoms.

Is this just another person telling me to buy a planner?
Absolutely not. If planners worked for us, we’d all be running the world by now. Instead, we use the VIA Dashboard to find your "signature strengths", the stuff you’re already naturally good at. We use those strengths to build a system that actually fits your brain, rather than trying to force your brain into a system made for someone else.

What does a "Strengths-Based" approach actually mean?
Most of the world focuses on what’s "wrong" with the ADHD brain. We do the opposite. Using the VIA Character Strengths profile, we identify your top traits, like curiosity, bravery, or humour, and use them as tools to bypass the boring or difficult tasks. It’s about working with your brain’s natural wiring instead of fighting it.

Do I have to "fix" my personality to see results?
Nope. You get to keep the humour, the creativity, and the chaos. My job is just to help you put some guardrails around it so you can finish your projects and get to where you want to go without the constant burnout.
