Coaching & Facilitation for Leaders Who Want Alignment
and Results

I work with leaders at thresholds - those moments when what you've always done stops working, and something new wants to emerge.

I became a coach and facilitator because I believe leadership shouldn't cost you your life. Too many brilliant, capable people are leading from exhaustion instead of alignment. They're doing everything "right" - but something essential is still missing.

My approach integrates the personal and professional, the strategic and the somatic. I don't believe you can separate your leadership from your wholeness - so we work with both.

1:1 Coaching: I help leaders move from knowing what they want to actually doing it - without burning out. We work on the inner shifts AND the outer strategy, because one without the other keeps you blocked.

Facilitation: I guide teams through the work of aligning on what really matters and creating strategies people are genuinely energized to execute. I design inclusive processes where individual purpose connects to team goals and organizational mission.

I'm selective about who I work with because I believe deep transformation requires genuine resonance.
Ready to explore if we're a fit? Book a Threshold Call - a complimentary 60-minute coaching session where we explore what's present for you and sense if there's alignment or a Facilitation Inquiry Call.

MORE ABOUT 1:1 COACHING

How Coaching Works
In coaching, I create space for you to hear your own wisdom. Using reflective questions, somatic practices, and strategic frameworks, we move from knowing to doing.

We work on the inner shifts AND the outer strategy - because one without the other keeps you stuck. When you learn to trust your body's wisdom about what's a yes and what's a no, everything changes: the clients you take on, the roles you accept, the boundaries you set, the way you spend your time.

The results show up in real ways. Clients renegotiate salaries once they understand their true value. They say no to draining work and make space for better-aligned opportunities that actually pay more. They stop chasing bonuses that cost them their sanity - and often find the money comes anyway when they work from alignment instead of frenzy. They leave jobs that were slowly dimming them and create work that both sustains them financially and feeds their soul.

This isn't magical thinking. It's what happens when you stop overriding your body's wisdom and start making choices from integrity instead of fear.
Here's what I've learned from both studying Human Design and watching my clients transform:

When you're aligned, you're magnetic. The right opportunities, clients, and roles find you. You stop wasting energy on what doesn't fit, which means you have MORE energy for what does.

When you trust your body's "no," your "yes" becomes powerful. Clients who learn to decline misaligned work consistently report better opportunities emerging - often quickly, and often more lucrative.

When you stop performing and start choosing, you lead differently. You work smarter, not just harder. You build sustainable success instead of burning out on the way up.

What Clients Experience
My clients don't just feel better (though they do). They see tangible shifts:
  • Career transitions that honor both values and financial needs - choosing roles that pay well AND feel aligned
  • Income increases - sometimes significant ones - because they've learned to value their work appropriately and negotiate from groundedness
  • Better boundaries - saying no to draining clients or projects, which creates space for work that energizes them (and often pays more)
  • Sustainable success - achieving goals without sacrificing their health, relationships, or sanity
  • Creative breakthroughs - finally completing the book, launching the business, building the thing they've been putting off
These aren't separate from the "inner work" - they're what happens when inner alignment meets outer action.

Who I Coach
I work with leaders who:
  • Are navigating significant transitions (new roles, career shifts, post-burnout reclamation)
  • Want to redefine success on their own terms - including what they're paid and how they work
  • Value depth, integrity, and doing things differently
  • Are ready to lead from alignment, not just achievement
  • Understand that sustainable success requires both inner wisdom and strategic action
  • Are willing to do the hard work of trusting themselves even when it's uncomfortable
My clients include nonprofit leaders, entrepreneurs, public health professionals, facilitators, creatives, and anyone committed to leading well - not just successfully.

MORE ABOUT FACILITATION

Facilitation: Where Strategy Meets Purpose
I guide teams and organizations through the work of aligning on what actually matters - and creating strategies people are genuinely energized to execute.

Here's what makes my facilitation different:
Most strategic planning feels like a checkbox exercise. People sit through hours of meetings, produce documents that live in a drawer, and return to work feeling more drained than inspired. That's because the process ignored something essential: people need to be connected to purpose - their own, their team's, and the organization's - to actually do the work with energy and commitment.
My facilitation creates that connection.

How I Work With Groups
I design experiences that maximize inclusive contribution. This isn't just facilitation best practice - it's how real buy-in happens. When people's voices are genuinely heard and integrated into the strategy, they show up differently. They take ownership. They drive results because the work matters to them, not just to leadership.

Things you won't notice because I'm making it work smoothly:
  • Managing group dynamics - I read the room, sense who's not being heard, and create space for quieter voices while managing dominant ones. I know how to navigate conflict, tension, and the inevitable messiness of group process without losing focus or momentum.
  • Time management - I keep groups on track without making it feel rushed or rigid. Sessions move, breathe, and achieve what we set out to accomplish. Teams leave energized, not exhausted.
  • Synthesizing complexity - I take diverse perspectives, competing priorities, and seemingly contradictory information and help groups find the through-line. What actually matters here? What's the real decision? What's the next right step?
  • Creating clarity from chaos - Groups often come to me when they're stuck, scattered, or spinning. I bring structure that feels liberating (not constraining), focus that creates momentum, and frameworks that help teams see their path forward.
  • Building collaborative culture - Good facilitation doesn't just produce a strategic plan. It builds trust, strengthens relationships, and creates the kind of culture where people want to show up and do their best work together.

What Organizations Experience
Teams and organizations that work with me don't just get a strategic plan. They get:
  • Clarity on what actually matters - not just what leadership thinks matters, but what the team collectively believes is essential
  • Buy-in and ownership - because people helped create the strategy, they're invested in executing it
  • Alignment across levels - individual purpose connects to team goals connects to organizational mission
  • Energized teams - people leave facilitations feeling excited (not depleted) about the work ahead
  • Concrete next steps - clear roles, timelines, and accountability structures that make execution possible
  • Stronger culture - trust built through collaborative process carries forward into daily work

Organizations save time and money because we do the hard thinking up front, together. Teams avoid the frustration of misalignment, false starts, and wheel-spinning. And most importantly, people want to do the work because they're connected to why it matters.

Testimonials

This experience of coaching with Emily has been nothing short of life changing for me. I had been working on a lot of self growth for a number of years, but felt like I was stuck. Emily came into my life at a time where I was ready to really go deeper and move past some of my sticking points. Since working with her, I have changed jobs, closed the door on a toxic relationship, and faced fears I didn't even realize I had. It is an understatement to say this experience was transformational for me--I have experienced an awakening of self-love and Emily has been a true catalyst to give me the permission and support to lean into that. I would recommend Emily to anyone and everyone I know!

- Jennifer

Since working with Emily I’ve not only made tangible progress on several of my business and creative goals (including my book and workshop development), but I’ve also built habits and boundaries that are helping me protect my energy and focus. I’ve started recognizing and interrupting patterns of overwork, comparison, and self-doubt, and I’m making more decisions from a place of alignment and trust. I always felt like I could show up fully, even when I didn’t have it all together, and she’d meet me with clarity, compassion, and incredibly smart questions. I’d recommend Emily to any leader, facilitator, entrepreneur, or creative who’s holding a lot and craving space to sort through it all with more clarity and care.

- Mary

wasn’t sure if coaching would really shift anything for me, or if it would just feel like a lot of talk. Working with Emily, I've gotten clearer about articulating what’s important to me about the work that I do. I’ve been able to work through specific challenges of client relationships and get clarity on a path forward so that I can show up better for the people I work with. I’m also being more intentional about the clients and types of work I take on. Most of the time I actually can have way more discernment than I let myself think. Through this process I’ve built tools and structures to help me evaluate those choices, and I feel much more confident in being able to make a choice for me.

- Danny

I would recommend Emily’s services to anyone looking for support and advice on staying focused on accomplishing tasks. After working with Emily, I’m more aware of my habits/patterns, good and bad! I can now identify when I’m procrastinating and stay more focused to achieve the task at hand. I’ve learned new ways to help me get from point A to point B

- Aneta

Initially, I wasn't sure what kind of support I was looking for; goal setting, support, creativity. What I quickly learned by working with Emily, was that she is a skilled and adaptable guide to support me wherever I wanted to go. Some of my goals seemed more like pipe dreams - I'm thrilled to say that I am actually about to offer a two day in-person event offering HeartMath tools and techniques to caregivers and parents in the last week of May. Emily always reminded me to be in my body and to express my emotions in addition to my cognitive thoughts. This is something that is incredibly important to me, but doesn't always come naturally since I am a fast thinker, who usually looks for the next item to execute.

- Janet

Working with Emily was a great complement to my therapy. I have become much more aware of when my body is trying to send me messages, and I'm getting better at pausing to listen and process. With the skills I gained and practiced with Emily, it became less and less scary to engage with what I'm feeling so I can process feelings better. I would recommend Emily to anyone who is looking to take an active role in growing and achieving their goals, and wants support from a safe person who really seeks to understand them, their goals, and how to help them get there.

- Tyra

After working with Emily, I feel like I have more control over my life. In my personal and professional roles, I have the skills to take a beat, do some planning, and figure it out.

I came to coaching at a time of transition and asked to focus on my leadership style. I had a relatively big theme and wasn’t sure I would have enough to work through. But I always had plenty to explore.

I was so impressed by how well Emily synthesized what I was saying into something concise that when reflected back was the perfect interpretation of sometimes several seemingly disconnected things. Emily was also very thoughtful about bringing in topics or issues from earlier sessions and helping me make connections that her perspective and distance allowed her to see and hear.

I had a vague notion of my leadership style. Coaching gave me the space to consider different styles of leadership, incorporate my preferences and approaches into supervising and mentoring others, and in managing up. It also helped me understand team dynamics better by being intentional about listening, observing, and staying curious. I also practiced skills from my professional life in my personal life and vice versa. That was potentially one of the most surprising parts of the experience! I knew we were looking at the whole person, but it was revelatory each time I did something in another context. I am more confident in my current role and have a clearer understanding of how I want to lead as I move through my career.
