What can I expect on our Free Discovery Call?
This hour long session will be a chance for us to meet each other and for me to discover more about you and what you're needing help with. At the end of the session, I will let you know exactly how I think I can help, how long I anticipate it taking and how frequently I'd recommend we meet. We can also discuss any questions you might have and make sure we're a good fit together.
This session is always a wonderful chance for you to talk about what is going on for you. You will be given full space to express yourself in a compassionate and supportive environment.
It's natural to feel nervous before this session but I am here to support you throughout and we will go at your pace and cover the things you need to express in safety.

Do I have to commit to weekly sessions?
Not at all. Most of my clients start weekly and then drop down to fortnightly as soon as we're able to. But some of my clients prefer to start at fortnightly. And others like to continue weekly for years, and that's fine too!
I have direct debit packages to suit both options or you can choose to pay as you go or pay for a package of four sessions so you can take your sessions whenever fits for you. What works for you, works for me.

Do I have to do homework between sessions?
This is completely down to you. I always offer my clients some things to work on between sessions as it makes the process quicker overall. But I also have clients who prefer to have the sessions and then go away and reflect on their own rather than focus on specific tools or tasks.
If you want lots of work to do between sessions, then I am very happy to provide that and also to give you support and help on this between our calls. But the amount of work you do between sessions is completely up to you and what feels right for you.

Am I offered any support between sessions?
Absolutely! Therapy and coaching doesn't just happen in that one hour we see each other but extends throughout the week. I offer full WhatsApp support to all my clients where you can send me messages or voice notes about how you're doing, what successes and challenges you're having and any post session reflections you've been having.
This also offers great accountability if there is anything you're struggling to achieve or any habits or goals you're wanting to implement. I am there to help you both in and out of our sessions.

How is this different to therapy?
I combine therapy and coaching into one session, and this will differ depending on each client. For some clients, we will explore back into their past to identify where some destructive patterns might have emerged and look at how this historical context is causing issues today.
For other clients, we will be very focused on the present day and looking at goals and creating momentum, with little reflection on the past needed.
But for most clients, there is a need to combine both aspects and ensure we are creating change with a clear and compassionate understanding of the past. This allows us to clear any psychological blockers from the past whilst keeping a focus on the future and moving ahead with clarity and confidence.

Do you offer any discounts?
I believe that everyone should have access to the very best coaching and therapy support, regardless of their circumstances. Because of this, I offer discounted sessions to those who are struggling financially and we can discuss this during our first Discovery Call. I also have a waiting list of pro bono clients for those clients in the most need. All of these aspects can be discussed with openness and understanding during our first free session together.
