Some seek prestige. We seek fulfillment.

Getting your teen into the right college isn’t just about rankings, it’s about fit. We have valedictorians - perfect SAT scores- class presidents who could attend DUKE - MIT - Harvard, but chose Brown- Rensselaer - Drexel because that is the school that maximizes their long-term happiness potential.

About

Known as the "The Mary Poppins of College Planning," former Johns Hopkins professor Dr. Emily Wassell has worked with over 3,000 students to help them find fulfillment where others chase prestige. Living in beautiful Treviso, Italy with her husband and two boys, it’s Emily’s mission to show teens that there are no limits to their happiness and fulfillment, with the right strategy.

She helps sophomores and juniors plan the entire college-admissions process start to finish, from nailing their SATs, to writing the perfect essay, to finding the right school, and has a 100% right-fit placement rate for her students.

It’s not about finding the best school, it’s about finding the right one.

Let’s work together to get your teen ready and admitted to a school that makes them happy
and successful.

Testimonials

"Emily is one of the only teacher/mentors I’ve ever had who truly made me feel like I could do anything I set my mind to. And, I appreciate that beyond belief."

- Rebekah - Penn State University

“Emily helped me so much with my confidence and figuring out how to apply for college.”

- Sage - St. Olaf University

“I think something Emily helped me with most is my confidence with academics and within myself. The style of teaching Emily provides is enjoyable and not only effective in the classroom but in the rest of the world as well. Emily taught me how to deal with my anxiety, how to better myself, and how to deal with conflicts. These skills are important for anybody to know and I'm glad to have gotten the opportunity to learn from Emily.”

- Mia- Colorado College

“Dr. Emily Wassell helped me figure out my major, figure out what to write about, and pushed me to write an amazing essay that helped me get a full ride scholarship to George Washington University! I could not have done it without her.”

- Ariana - George Washington University

“Ahh yayyy!!! Thank you so much Emily. I couldn’t have done it without you. Thank you for your brilliance. You know exactly what to say, always. You endlessly light up my life every time I talk to you.”

- Liza

“I wanted to say thank you so very much for your help as Riana's College Coach! You helped her understand the importance of doing the research into each university. There were so many times that Riana had things swirling around in her head for her essays, but just could not get it to make sense on paper. We are so proud of her hard work. Hiring you as her coach was priceless.
These essays, common apps, ACT/SAT, outside activities and letters of recommendation are so overwhelming for our kids. She was awarded the full ride which is a little over $93K each year for the 4 years. That also includes if she wants to study abroad, health insurance, room and board and food pass.

Thank you so very much!

- Diana (Mother), Teen at Washington University
