Dina Beelaert

Trauma-Informed Coach

About

Hi, I'm Dina Beelaert, a trauma-informed coach helping women feel more at home in their mind and body. Many women who find their way here notice patterns like self-doubt, perfectionism, or feeling responsible for too much. These can quietly shape how you respond to stress and relationships. My work focuses on helping you understand your nervous system and see how these patterns formed. Through gentle, body-aware practices, we begin to create new ways of relating to yourself with more clarity and self-trust.

“What stands out is her ability to teach and simplify complex concepts with visual aids, which helps me truly understand and grasp what I’m learning. This has built my trust in her guidance, allowing me to express myself more fully than I ever have with anyone else. The impact of this work is profound—I leave each session with a greater awareness of my past thoughts and memories, and I view them with more compassion and without judgment. I honestly feel safe to be exactly who I need to be in the moment."

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s the difference between coaching and therapy?
Coaching is client-led and goal-oriented. While we acknowledge how the past may be shaping your current patterns, our work focuses primarily on the present and future. Together, we identify what feels ready for attention and take intentional steps toward greater awareness, regulation, and choice.

Therapy is a licensed mental health service that is therapist-led and may include assessment, diagnosis, and clinical treatment. It often addresses both past and present experiences to support individuals working through trauma, complex emotional wounds, or mental health conditions such as anxiety or depression.

Coaching may complement therapy, but it does not replace mental health treatment when that level of care is needed.
Who is coaching for?
Coaching is designed for women who notice themselves feeling stuck in recurring patterns such as people-pleasing, perfectionism, or difficulty setting boundaries. It is for those who want to better understand how their nervous system and past experiences may be shaping their present-day responses.

If you are looking to build greater awareness, regulation, and self-trust, coaching offers a structured and supportive place to begin.
What approaches do you use in your coaching?
My work is trauma-informed and body-based. In our sessions, we use somatic practices to help you tune into your body and understand how it responds to stress and emotion. At times, we may incorporate additional body-based tools, including gentle bilateral stimulation or elements of parts work, to build awareness and compassion for the different aspects of yourself that formed in response to life experiences. Together, we focus on regulation, increased self-awareness, and building greater choice in how you respond to stress and triggers.

These approaches are designed to support steady, sustainable growth. Sessions are collaborative and paced according to your capacity, allowing the work to unfold in a way that feels supportive rather than overwhelming.
How long will I need coaching?
The length of coaching varies for each person. Every person’s journey is unique, and meaningful change takes time. The pace depends on your goals, history, and current capacity.

Coaching begins with a six-session package, which provides a steady and supportive structure for exploring your patterns and building momentum. At the end of those sessions, we pause to reflect on your progress and decide together what feels supportive moving forward.

Some women choose to continue with additional packages, while others feel complete after one round. The process is structured, yet flexible, allowing you to move at a pace that feels sustainable.
How can we communicate in between sessions?
You are welcome to email me or send a message through your client portal if you have a brief question or need clarification between sessions. I will respond within 24 hours during business days.

Between-session communication is intended for quick support or logistical questions. Deeper processing is best held within our scheduled time together.
What If I need to cancel or reschedule my session?
You may cancel or reschedule through your client portal with at least 24 hours' notice. Appointments adjusted within that window may be rescheduled without penalty.

Because your time is reserved in advance, cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice will result in the session being counted as used.

If something unexpected arises, please reach out. I will always do my best to work within the policy when possible.
