Holistic Trauma-Informed Coaching for Thriving in the Complexities of Life
About
My name is Chrys (short for Chrysalis).
I specialize in helping women with autoimmune disorders or chronic disease to reduce symptoms, feel good in their bodies again and really thrive despite their diagnosis.
Being diagnosed with a chronic health condition or even dealing with symptoms that have not yet been diagnosed can alter your sense of who you are, how you function in day to day life and and even your relationships.
That is why I use a holistic approach in my healing practice that honors who you are as a whole person: body, mind and spirit. This is not a one-size-fits-all approach because every person is unique. So every plan is designed specifically for your needs and goals, and we make adjustments as we go along as new discoveries come to light.
As a childhood trauma survivor, I am well acquainted with the impact of early stress on the health of one's body and mind. I was diagnosed with my first autoimmune disease at the age of 6. I am also a two-time adult cancer warrior. So I have firsthand experience navigating the medical system, the anxieties involved with a life-changing diagnosis, and the determination to thrive in the midst of it all.
Suffice to say, I have learned a few things over the years and am committed to sharing what I know and continue to learn in order to ease the way for others.
I am a Health and Lifestyle Coach trained through the International Coach Federation and hold degrees in psychology, social work and theology, and I am a Certified Functional Nutrition Counselor. I also have over 40 years experience in social work and care of the human spirit.
My approach integrates these specialties with my many years of life experience to offer clients compassionate, healing, transformative and forward-moving coaching that recognizes the complexities of life, the connections between mind, body and spirit, and the wholeness of each person.
In each session, whether One-on-One or Group, you will receive from me deep listening, clarifying questions and supportive education. Together we will make a plan to help you achieve your next step or goal.
Beyond the work around symptom relief and physical health, we unearth and repair limiting beliefs about ourselves and how the world works, and as we grow our capacity for healthy relationships (including relationship to Self), we begin to exchange overwhelm for ease and clarity. We exchange anxiety for peaceful empowerment. We effortlessly transform our life and the world around us. We reach goals. We remember who we were meant to be. We heal. We thrive. We become the hero of our own life story.
I am continually inspired by the journeys of my clients and the resilience and creativity that resides inside us all.
No matter who you are, where life has taken you, what struggles you are currently experiencing, you are welcome here and you deserve every happiness.

Testimonials
Coach Chrys Beck was a wonderful resource for helping me find my way through a difficult situation after trying to resolve it on my own for months. As we talked, she was not only able to help me resolve my situation, but helped me build trust and confidence in myself and guide me through the process of discernment for the next step in my journey. Her time with me resulted in my letting go of my fears of the unknown and stepping into creating a new path that was God-led and fulfilling. I highly recommend Coach Chrys as a wonderful resource in walking through any situation and coming out the other side stronger.
- Rev. Becky Guthrie, UMC Ordained Deacon
Chrys is a gifted listener who created a safe space for me to deeply discern my call to ministry. Her coaching style weaves genuine compassionate soul care with gentle verbal nudging - empowering me to arrive at the answers myself and not feel like I was ever “told what to do.” She is a gifted coach and I would work with her again in an instant!
- Amber Brown
I have known Chrys for quite a few years. What she brings to her sessions is honesty, clarity, compassion and insights.
- Vicki
Before coaching with Chrys, I felt powerless against my ailments and changes in my life, so was seeking help in adjusting my life around my health challenges.
During these past 5 days, I realized that over my life I learned to view myself as ill and I had been adjusting my life around my symptoms and waiting for the next diagnosis rather than the idea I could get better.
The biggest shift for me was in how I see myself. Now I am an optimistic leader in my own life. Now I feel proud and like I can do anything. I can live life to the fullest.
I also learned that stress in my life made my symptoms worse.
What I would tell someone considering doing this [The 5-Day Bridge to Health] is to keep an open mind to learning and making adjustments.
- Kristian R., August 2026
Before I began coaching with Chrys, I was struggling with the fear of the unknown regarding my autoimmune disease, feeling out of control and unsure of how to respond.
Through our work together, I realized there are effective ways to ease my stress and reduce inflammation. The biggest shift for me was learning that I can actively manage my condition through movement, a non-inflammatory diet, emotional support, and my spiritual practice. Now I see that it is possible to be healthy while living with an autoimmune disease.
To anyone struggling with an autoimmune disease who is considering natural health protocols or working with a health coach: don’t hesitate—just do it! Learning about the root cause of my condition has helped me understand the best natural approaches to manage the source, not just the symptoms.
