Executive Function Coaching for ADHD Teens Clarity and support for parents

About

You’re not failing your teen.
The support just hasn’t matched how their brain works.

I help teens ages 12+ build the structure, systems, and confidence they need to function independently.

If your teen struggles with starting, organizing, or managing emotions,
it’s not a lack of effort — it’s a skill gap.

Maybe you’re constantly reminding, prompting, and managing just to keep things afloat.

Maybe you’ve tried tutors, planners, therapy, or consequences — only to watch progress fall apart again.
And maybe the hardest part is this: you don’t want your relationship with your teen to revolve around pressure, conflict, or control.
You know your teen has potential.

But when effort doesn’t lead to results, you’re watching their confidence erode — and you’re exhausted from carrying the mental load alone.

Imagine this instead:
Your teen starts tasks with less resistance.
They understand how to plan and follow through.
They recover from setbacks without spiraling.
You step out of the role of manager and back into being their parent.
Conversations feel calmer.
Your home feels more connected.
And your teen begins to trust themselves again.

When teens learn how to plan, start, and recover — instead of being told they “should” — change becomes sustainable.

My approach:
ADHD isn’t a motivation or intelligence problem. It’s an executive function and nervous system challenge.

Most families have already tried reminders, consequences, tutors, or “trying harder.” Those approaches may be well-intentioned, but they don’t address how executive function and emotional regulation actually develop.

That’s why my work focuses on personalized, skills-based, relationship-centered coaching that adapts to your teen’s brain, pace, and emotional needs — not a one-size-fits-all system.

This isn’t about fixing your teen.
It’s about giving them skills they can carry into school, relationships, and adulthood — in a way that feels personal, respectful, and sustainable.

How we work together
Every teen is different, which means coaching needs to be personal.
Whether your teen is overwhelmed by school demands, emotionally reactive, or shutting down under pressure, I tailor our work to who they are — not who they’re “supposed” to be.

Our work focuses on:
  • Executive function skills such as planning, time awareness, task initiation, and follow-through — taught in ways that make sense to your teen
  • Emotional regulation and resilience after setbacks, with tools they can actually use in the moment
  • Parent support with clear strategies, language, and boundaries — personalized so you’re no longer managing everything alone

All coaching is practical, structured, and intentionally designed to transfer into your teen’s real life.

Why families trust this work
I bring over 25 years of experience in education, specialized training as an ADHD & Executive Function Coach, and extensive experience supporting teens and families both in the U.S. and internationally.

I work virtually with families in English and Spanish, and I’m known for a calm, structured, and deeply personal approach that helps teens feel understood — not judged.

Families often tell me this is the first support their teen didn’t resist — and the first time they felt hopeful instead of reactive.

Teen perspective | In group sessions, many teens share that they feel less “stuck” or “broken.” One teen described learning to use checklists, weekly planning, and stress strategies as a turning point: “I didn’t know I could actually do this.”

Finally part of the team—not the ‘bad guy’ | Many parents are surprised by how involved they can be in the process without feeling like they’re nagging. Frequently Asked Questions

What makes this different from tutoring, therapy, or other ADHD programs?
Tutoring focuses on academics. Therapy often focuses on emotional processing. Many ADHD programs are pre-recorded or one-size-fits-all.

My coaching focuses on executive function and emotional regulation skills, taught in a personal, interactive way that adapts to your teen’s real life. Families often use coaching alongside therapy or school supports.
Who is this program for?
This coaching is for teens ages 12–18 with ADHD who are bright, capable, and struggling with organization, follow-through, emotional regulation, or confidence.

It’s also for parents who want to support their teen without constant reminders, power struggles, or burnout.
How personal is the coaching?
Very personal.

There is no one-size-fits-all approach. Coaching is tailored to your teen’s brain, pace, personality, emotional needs, and school demands. Parent support is also personalized—never generic advice.
What if my teen is resistant or we’ve already tried everything?
That’s very common.

Coaching doesn’t rely on motivation upfront. Engagement builds as trust grows, pressure decreases, and teens experience small, meaningful wins. Many families tell me this is the first support their teen didn’t resist.
Do sessions happen live?
Yes. All coaching sessions are live and interactive, not pre-recorded. This allows coaching to adapt in real time to what your teen is experiencing week to week.
Is coaching online effective for teens?
Yes—often more effective.

Because schoolwork and daily challenges happen at home, online coaching allows us to work in your teen’s real environment, using real assignments, schedules, and situations where skills actually need to transfer.
What results can we realistically expect?
Every teen is different, but families often notice:
  • less resistance around tasks
  • improved emotional regulation
  • better follow-through
  • reduced conflict at home
  • increased confidence and independence

Progress is steady, realistic, and designed to last.
How much parent involvement is required?
Parent involvement is intentional and strategic, not overwhelming.
You’ll receive guidance, language, and tools that help reduce reminders and conflict over time. The goal is less work for you—not more.
Why is coaching offered as a multi-week program instead of single sessions?
Executive function and emotional regulation are skills that develop over time.

Single sessions can offer insight, but sustainable change requires guided practice, repetition, and accountability. Multi-week programs support real habit and skill development.
Does this help with school accommodations like IEPs or 504s?
Coaching doesn’t replace school accommodations, but it supports students in using them effectively.

Many teens know they have accommodations but don’t know how to advocate for themselves or apply strategies independently—coaching helps bridge that gap.
Why is this an investment rather than a lower-cost service?
This is personal, high-touch coaching, not a self-paced course or generic program.
Families are investing in individualized support, real-time adjustments, accountability, and lasting skill development—not just information.
Do you offer payment plans?
Yes. Payment options are available and explained clearly before enrollment so families can commit with confidence.
How do I know if this is the right fit?
That’s what the free ADHD Teen & Parent Clarity Call is for.

We’ll talk through what’s happening, what’s been tried, and what level of support makes sense—without pressure.
Who is this program NOT a good fit for?
This may not be a fit if you’re looking for a quick fix, compliance-based approaches, or tutoring only. Coaching works best for families open to gradual, skill-based progress.
