Well done in handling this. It's hard being in charge, but being transparent, honest, and taking responsibility for when we mess up, in my opinion will always be the right thing to do. I admire your willingness to be that kind of leader.

As a colleague, Rebecca Brey is incredibly generous with her time and expertise, which includes everything from years of experience researching ideas or solutions to problem solving solutions that make things enjoyable and easy. Beyond that, as her co-worker, I have to say that her humor and good nature make long nights and tough deadlines much easier on her team.

She is one of the most efficient and dynamic young women that I have met in a long time.
Rebecca is superbly organized, anticipates eventualities and has an extremely strong work ethic. While working for me, she never missed a beat or a deadline and had absolutely no qualms about helping me work through a fourteen-hour workday.
Furthermore, while she is clearly exceedingly bright, this does not come with any arrogance or over-confidence. Quite the contrary. While working for me she was always humble, eager to learn and willing to do whatever it took to get the job done. Her attention to detail meant that – whatever the task – she would identify and adopt efficiencies at every turn and she did not shy away from offering solutions to problems or situations as they arose, offering her solutions in a most charming, upbeat and respectful manner.
Indeed, she always brings such a positive, can do attitude that her refreshing eagerness is infectious to all those around her. Although Rebecca only worked for me on an ad hoc basis, it was clear to me – even in that short timeframe – that she would be an extraordinary asset to a working environment where strong organization skills and creativity were key.
As such, if had to choose an efficient and dynamic project manager or event planner, it would – without any hesitation – be Rebecca!
