My own money story has been anything but linear. At 20, I was a single mom relying on welfare and financial aid to finish my college degree. Those formative years taught me that how we money—how we earn, save, spend, and make decisions—is shaped by what we've survived, the systems we've navigated, and the stories we carry about worthiness and scarcity.
Over the next 25 years, I built a career dedicated to service and leadership, ultimately serving as an Office Director for the U.S. Department of Transportation. My paid career focused on creating cohesive teams and intuitive structures amid complexity, while my lived experience forced me to navigate bankruptcy, divorce, career burnout, and the unglamorous work of financial recovery. I know what it's like to start from scratch—and start over more than once. I've designed my coaching to reflect that reality.
As a Trauma-Informed Certified Coach (TICC) and ACC Candidate with the International Coaching Federation (ICF), I blend trauma-informed executive coaching with financial education. The result is practical, sustainable financial strategies that honor where you've been and support where you're going. This is about building clarity, making informed decisions, and creating resilience that holds—even when life doesn't cooperate.
