Hi, I'm Asha!

I'm...a lot of things: somatic practitioner, breathwork therapist, tree hugger, dog parent, person doing their best.

I support creative people, dancers, movers, drama kings and queens, highly sensitive people, basically the people holding everything together for their families, their communities, who are quietly losing touch with their own needs. 
Whether it's recovering from physical injury, surgery, or illness, or untangling stress patterns from a toxic relationship or traumatic event, rebuilding trust in the body is a slow process. 

Using an approach informed by Inner Relationship Focusing and embodied awareness practices, I help people soften around what hurts, meet themselves with honesty instead of pressure, and find relief from the performance.

In our sessions, you set the pace. I'll ask you about what you want to focus on and we will explore the stuck, tight places to find what wants to be heard in you. I don't pathologize sensitivity or drama. Have you ever seen the ocean? The earth is dramatic and highly sensitive. We are like this for a purpose. I offer validation, not quick fixes. I help you reconnect to your own clarity, your own timing, and allow your own deep wisdom to guide our process.

My background includes somatic and attachment-based therapy training through The Embody Lab, years of supporting dancers and creatives through stress and self-doubt, and a lifelong relationship with movement as a source of truth. I bring an embodied, culturally aware, LGBTQ+ affirming approach to every session. 

In my work, I use a decolonization framework that is explicitly anti-racist and addresses the intersectional concerns shared by humanity across sex, gender, orientation, nationality, and other social constructs.
